Weather permitting, you can see the supermoon after nightfall, and the eclipse will cast it into shadow beginning at 8:11pm ET (1.11am BST).
The eclipse will begin at 9:07 pm ET (2.07 am BST) on Sunday night, or Monday morning in the UK.
According to Phil Plait's blog, Bad Astronomy, this is the time you'll start to see a dark 'bite' taken out of them moon on the part of it nearest the horizon.
The moon will then spend just over an hour passing into the shadows, with the last sighting of it at 10:11 ET (3:11 BST).
It will be illuminated once again at 11:23 ET (4.23 BST), and it will be completely out of Earth's shadow at 00:27 ET (5:27 am BST).
Nasa is also providing a live stream from 8pm ET until at least 11:30 pm ET (4.30 am BST), broadcast from Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
The live feed is an alternative for those experiencing less-than-optimal weather or light-polluted night skies.
Hmm, it will show up around 5am here, so four hours to go.
I think I won't get a good look because I live in a city and you can mostly see trees and few buildings from my balcony.
It looked neither red nor big where I live. It was about same size it usually is and it was more brown than red.
I have seen this before and it was much better in the past...perhaps location is everything?
in my area it was cloudy but i got a couple glimpses. it was more of a copper color and not really that much larger than it normally is. but it was still kind of cool to see different stages of the moon being eclipsed when the clouds decided to move out of the way!
We got a few images as well, but it was too dark for my simple camera when it was in full eclipse, so mostly we have not so eclipsed version. It was still interesting. It was the second time I have seen it.
Can't wait to see the full solar eclipse that is coming up In 2017
On 2017 August 21, a total eclipse of the Sun is visible from within a narrow corridor that traverses the United States of America. The path of the Moon's umbral shadow begins in northern Pacific and crosses the USA from west to east through parts of the following states: Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina. The Moon's penumbral shadow produces a partial eclipse visible from a much larger region covering most of North America.

I'm going to go to the park to see it - cheeseburgers too.
Expecting a clear night.
Just praying I don't get picked off by werewolves or something like that.

Basically the show starts at 1am and finishes at 6:30am - but 2am to 3am is probably the juicy bit.
Don't worry, I'll make sure that happens doesn't happen, because I'm definitely not a werewolf or anything... hehehe...

It was bloody smaller than normal.
I am completely disgusted and I'm jolly well not having it.
Talk about a damp squib.
Seriously, that was utter baloney that was - call yourself a moon, you big ball of snot in the sky.
And it took chuffing hours for it to do pretty much nothing.
I was expecting this thing to be chuffing huge and in my face.
Next time it happens (in 30 years time) I shall be washing my hair.
I hope a chuffing asteroid smashes into it - see who's laughing then.
Definitely not us when the chunks of moon go everywhere. Oh well, I bet the asteroid will be disappointed in it as well.
