so now that they have this new survey out.... How long do you think it will be till toddlers/ generations pack will arrive? I have only one baby in my game I am waiting to age up, and now that some of the sims in my game are beginning to move up in their career... I have been working on some relationships between young adults (I currently have aging turned off and have a ton of young adults )... I haven't yet had anyone get married ( other than a few families put in by maxis and a couple I had made families already ). I have a couple of churches I downloaded. Besides letting me know when u think toddlers will enter TS4... Do u have any wedding suggestions?
I hate typo's.... And I hate to re read my own posts for them.. Lol

It would either be never or someday soon.
I wish we didn't have to guess like this and EA would stop being secretive like the Illuminati.

Good point, the game was built from Olympus which was never intended to be a family play and as I already said in another thread, family play was rushed in while all the EPs and stuff coming out is recycled from Olympus
My PC is 4 years old and is mid end. If I play any base game, EP or store world my game loads and saves in seconds.
> Toddlers will come when the time is right, but that time isn't right.
ok, got it... English is not my first language :/
I forgot to mention, I am talking about TS3 lol
I actually play my own world, made it in TS3, 355 lots, more than 400 Sims so in that case it takes slightly longer to load but nothing bad.
Save times can be 6 minutes, I use mods to keep things in check and have to limit play times with a computer restart break sometimes but that is due to the sheer size of things.
Crashes are rare but I used yo be a victim of the horrendous Save Error 12 on my old PC which had no trouble playing Sunset Valley but the game was not built for larger save files
Once I moved yo my new PC four years ago, it was a relief at last and I have had good times since then. I do wish they paid more attention to the Save Error issue though, and made it so TS4 could handle what TS3 did twice as fast but they took the back route so I am just sticking with TS3
*There's nothing wrong with loving the Sims 4, there's also nothing wrong with seeking improvements.
A list of Mods I use.|My Sims 4 Mod and CC "Master" post. Helpful Links included.
I would say one years time at the earliest but the way things are going, I wouldn't even count on that, maybe 2017 once they have exhausted all of the 'party theme' stuff they are doing at the moment, not that they haven't exhausted it already lol
Please Bring Back Toddlers, Realistic Teenagers and Create a World.
Make the Sims (4) Great Again<3
I think they left things out and are just going to charge us to bring them back in our games. Leave out toddlers? Make us pay for them in an expansion.
The Ice Cream machine can interact with those Sims values that might be variables to control "hunger" or "bladder". The Dishwasher is seen as a game object that can be interacted upon, and it uses the code logic to "clean up the dishes on the lot." The baby object is also a game Object. It alters Sims state values and at a later stage, that baby object instantiates a Sim(object) ...AKA, the birth of a Sim. ?Why can't Toddlers be highly intractable Objects? They can have their own objects, such as toddler toys in the Sims 3. Their emotions, things like hunger, bladder, social, ect, do not have to be the same bladder, social and hunger as the Sims objects. Of course it would feel like that to the player, that the toddler hunger value carries over with him when he ages up, and it is the same value that goes with him through adulthood. But if the Toddlers are a separate object, then the toddler object will just get destroyed when the sims ages up, a Sim is instantiated, and the parameters for their genetics will be applied to the new Sim object. Even if this system doesn't exist in this exact same way for the Sims, it would still work for creating Toddlers. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Toddlers were game Objects in the Sims 3.
So no, I don't think the delay we are getting in Toddlers is from trouble coding them into the game. They are probably testing them as we speak, as extensive testing takes ages, and they may be waiting to retro-actively ensure compatibility with future content.
I would say we are getting some gentle content now, while they test the compatibility of other future content we will be getting.
Simulation game programming is the hardest kind of programming that there is, imho. It takes the longest and is the most code intensive.
