Next up in The Sims 5, no babies, no kids, no teens, no family to hold you back. No spouses to take away the best years of your life! :persevere: Just young adults. Single young adults! Parrrrrtayyy! :smirk:

I love partying in real life, but in the Sims I can't stand it*... so if that's the case she's not doing a very good job!

*actually I liked sending my Sims to clubs in TS2/TS3, and throwing parties sometimes, but I can't say the same for Sims 4.

Not tired of parties but they need better/more party types so if they don't add those with the EP then I would be disappointed.

I never throw parties in the Sims 4, as I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to that sort of stuff. :# I threw one dinner party, because the sim I was playing had the Master Chef aspiration and I wanted her to complete it, which was before the locked doors mod came out, and one of the requirements was to cook a meal whilst the party had already started and all of the guests kept going to the fridge and grabbing leftovers whilst my sim was cooking them a gourmet meal. It was very stressing on me, lol.

Next time, after you get the stuff out to cook, just put the refrig in your inventory until you call them to meal. It sucks, but gets the job done. I don't throw many parties either unless I want my sim to meet some potential love interests that they met around the neighborhoods.

Why am I not surprised LOL!. I never throw party's in my game and my poor sims never get invited (for whatever reason they must be "uncool) lol!! either way I am not thrilled with this EP...they must have some mud stuck their ear's and not realize that a lot of simmer's have been asking for certain thing's to be added ESPECIALLY family players :/

Honestly, I need more fun social things for my YA sims to do but I also need things for them to do once they find that perfect person at the club. I need more family activities. My sims play cards quite a lot.

I want clubs again no doubt...I also want apts as well, but I think they should of focused for once on more important stuff...I would of settled for a generation's type pack something family related, but of course that's just me. I want to be able to play a full fledged family style, but still have fun of course...I guess I'm asking for too much -.-

It's so weird I mean the base game already has Bars, Nightclubs and Lounges, do we really need more partying venues????

Well I will be able to just lock the kitchen door now, as that happened before the game mod came out and before they added door locking back into the game.

The "Parties" of the base game were lame. Why? Because of the lack of adequate dancing and because of the fact that there is not much to do beside talking.

I can repeat myself. Parties (or at least the things that may come) are the only reason why I keep checking constantly for news about The Sims 4. Otherwise this app would not be worth a peny.

Yes, we do because Lounges and Bars are boring and at times disfunctional. They are only in the game because we needed some kind of public places. It's like to say: Guys, we have children and playgrounds in the base game, do we really need more family stuff?

Edit: I want to have real clubs in the game, with bouncers, club atmosphere, cool dancing, more party-interactions, juice-keggs etc. . The base game offers none of this. The parties are, let's be honest here, super lame.

If the developers love party they can make specific themed EPs and add one specific kind of partying in every EP. I dont mind it that way but I am not liking the COMPLETE FOCUS on the partying. Even that conference was an EPIC FAIL. Very silly and embarassing.

They can do the following EPs with one kind of party in them.
    - pets have animal party
    - Seasons have seasonal party
    - Generations have family party. Etc

Even the partying thing they are offering are not focused and have no reason. The last gamepack and now this EP give me the impression that developers are so bored from their jobs and are just wasting some time until another job opportunity arises :s
Everything I post is an opinion here and I think every post of others is as well.

I believe there are bracelets that let you limit what sims can attend a club. The pack provides club functions, not just nightclubs, but other social clubs as well...book clubs etc.

@ModerateOsprey I don't assume anymore, I just get disappointed in the end. But it is a reasonable assumption. Am I boring but I would love book clubs!!

I am pretty sure it is a thing. Book clubs were specifically mentioned by a guru in a tweet. I am really sorry, I can't find the post, I have lost track of posts with all these threads, but I have definitely seen it.

I rarely get excited about any product anymore...lol. But I am looking forward to it. I think there will be a lot I can use in this pack with a bit of imagination and that is before the CC and mods that will inevitably follow.

I have already created clubs in my game - sort of. I set a lot as residential and build my club, school, whatever and then move my sims onto the lot for a half day, day, or more if it is residential. Unfortunately, I can't let single household sims attend because I need to leave a sim in a household, so the other sims can come back.

Edit: The penny just dropped on your book titles

Since when was this EP about parties? It's about clubbing and socialising, no? Swap this with TS3:
'Gah, I can't believe University Life has new party types! I'm sick and tired of all these parties! Seasons had new party types, as did Generations and Late Night was all about partying! Do we really need a new expansion that includes a new party type even though that's not the main feature!?'
