I was one of those who didn't want laundry in TS3. It just seemed like another thing my sim had to do. After they released it I found I loved it! I am always willing to admit when I am wrong . I miss it in TS4 too and I think it could really add to the game.
Yeah, I hope laundry returns too, with hopefully other new chores.

I do miss the menial little chores: laundry, raking, clicking on the floor and cleaning the whole house, etc. I would even like to add mowing the lawn, washing the car... oh yeah. And CARS. lol
I would also love the washer and dryer back. When I build homes a lot of the time I will make an extra room or leave some space, just hoping they will be added some day. They gave us hampers and dirty laundry piles in the base game. It would be nice if they were usable.
