May 14th update stuck at 86%

I open Origin, and it tells me the new update is paused at 86%. I hit resume, it resumes for a few seconds, stops again, and then I get a notice that Origin has stopped working. What do I do please?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Origin.

Hello.
Shut down your computer and then restart the computer again. If that doesn't help, then uninstall and reinstall origin.

Thanks! I did uninstall and re-install Origin-looked promising, then stopped the update at 86 % again.

Something like that happened to me before. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself. To my surprise all the game files and mod files were all still intact and the update went smoothly...

Ended up having to uninstall and reinstall. Played fine for a while, but is now again stuck. Feeling frustrated-thanks for the help.

There was another update today.
Shut down your computer completely, and then restart the computer again. Then log in to Origin and see if it is working okay again.
