    Error when launching game

    Hello,
    After updating with the most recent update, I keep getting this error message:

    Unable to start:

    Cannot start because required game data is missing or damaged. Please try reinstalling the game.

    [85262c58:29f00e76:00000000:00000000]

    I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn't fix it. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

      Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling Origin too?

      You completely got rid of all the Origin files by going into the hidden Library?

      Are you putting your save games/mods/cc back in after you reinstall?

      What Mac do you have?

      I followed all of the directions on origins website on how to uninstall origin completely, so I believe so. I hadn't put my saves/mods/cc back in yet, so no. I have a Macbook Air 13 in early 2014

      EA's instructions don't include the cache files. You need to delete those too:
