with the recent rumours about toddlers returning to sims 4 and all I was reading the forums and people still aren't happy with the game? What do you actually want to make it better. They patched in pools, ghosts and maybe toddlers in the future so what is it that you need to make you return to the game or save the game in your eyes?

Plus aliens, so I can have my Smith family back.
I have dyslexia so my grammar sucks.

Aliens in the new EP, so you'll have your Smiths!
NPC's like repair people, firefighters, police, burglars, and probably highest on my list (especially if we get toddlers back) babysitters/nannies.
Dishwashers and trash compactors. I mean, I guess those don't have much impact overall in the game, but I mean come on now....
Lockable doors like we eventually got in ts3 where you could choose specific sims to lock the door for. I don't just want locked or unlocked I want to be able to, for example, lock a door so the children of the house can't get in and only the parents can or whatever I want to do.
Assignable beds.
Of course the closed world and lack of CASt will always be issues, but those will never be fixed in ts4.
My biggest issue that I feel most affects my day to day play at the moment though, is lack of toddlers... Oh and of course the fact that sims give birth to bassinets instead of babies is a pretty big issue that I wish they would care enough to rectify.
That is a terribly large list, so I'll shorten it.
There is more... so much more... in a nut shell though, I want to be able to do in past games, that is... things that became a mainstay of past incarnations of this game be it stuff in the base game or stuff that became important to the over all experience on playing the sims.
- Bring back TS3 style build mode, build mode right now is too noobish
- landscaping tools, seriously flat lots?!
- Neighborhood editor.. this feels like a console version of The Sims.
- Different heights for teens, ya, adults, elders
- an actual baby like in the sims 2 not some SIMS 1 bassinet baby object. the burrito baby from sims 3 was bad too.
The Sims 5.
It seems like a lot of complaining, but I actually have been enjoying the game overall. I play some serious challenges, some not so serious ones. Occasionally I blog about it.
I also want some more death options and a way (without a mod) to turn emotional deaths off. Idk why, but I really am not fond of "oh, he laughed himself to death"
Edit - Height slider.
rumors?
I asked flat out and got..."we cant talk about it"

so take your 'rumors' with a grain of salt

More reactions from the sims, I said this before I think but it's the biggest thing missing. If I buy my sim a 2500 TV I expect them to notice it. If my sims gets too sad from lack of social I want to see the social bunny show up. If my sim fails an aspiration goal I want to see them throw a fit about it! If they throw an epic party I want to see a surprise like Santa or Drew Carey shows up. And how about new things like they had a bad date so they go get ice cream from the freezer? These little things are what bring the sims games to lives and were totally eliminated for sims 4.
Lastly bring back aspiration goals or a lifetime wish that literally takes the sims entire lifetime to achieve (or a good chunk of it).
