I see police man and possibly an alien. What do you think?
The woman's wearing a police hat, but with regular clothes -- still, you wouldn't need a police hat without police officers, unless they're bringing back the sexy strippers from Generations. Maybe the surprise for the month is that they're bringing back NPCs from past games: police/burglars, fire fighters, repair persons.
Ugh, I would love so much for NPC repair persons (so much easier to call a repair person to fix something that breaks right as my sim's about to leave for work!) and firefighters. Not sure how much I really miss the NPC police & burglars ... it's so nice to have my current sims living an outdoors lifestyle with very little "inside" (there's literally a bathroom inside, everything else is outside), which just begs for burglars to come and take everything that's outside. Plus, like @IgnitedTobi1, it always seemed in TS3 that the cops were unbelievably incompetent, they fought the burglar but lost, so the burglar would get away with everything they already grabbed.

It looks like she took that hat from the man next to her, actually. I'd like to have that career path in the game because imo there are many sims which just scream "I'm a police officer" when you look at them.

I just noticed the guy by the chick with the police hat is wearing a police outfit.
You're right -- I just figured that out with a closer look. So he's the police officer and she just grabbed his cap (maybe his wife/girlfriend -- heck, he's kind of a cutie, I wouldn't mind him in my game ).
And maybe they'll start out with the NPCs then eventually make them part of the Active Careers pack that's been rumored in development.

I don't really like burglars, but if they do make a come back then I'll just have to deal with them.
Hopefully door locks and security systems are also added that would be a little anticlimactic. and maybe with sims with a mischief skill at lvl 5 sims can break in to other homes
I think robbers should be able to break door locks, it would be more realistic

That's not a gardener, gardener NPC actually exist already but they only take care of the comunity garden I think, I've seen them around in my game, as well as people dressed in a fisherman costume, I wish the NPC gardener could be used as a service and really hope those are NPC cops and that we get burglars and alarms.

The person being suspicious about the cow plant looks like the park ranger from outdoor retreat. The tragic clown could be a fun return. Who do you think the burglar is, I don't see anyone who looks like a burglar? (Unless you mean the girl who looks like she just took the policeman's hat, but she looks more like a michevious sim than a burglar.)
