    40 River Road - A Modern Design with Pools In Mind

    This has been a long time in the making. I planned on moving my sims into a new house and then when pools were announced, I got excited and restarted. So this house's main feature is a pool (fountain for now). Since this is the home of my family, I had to wait until they could afford to furnish it. But now that it is, you will see all the benefits of their hard work. Tons of paintings and artwork, woodworkings, and the objects they earned through their careers. There is a small detached bedroom that seems out of place, however, this is going to be the "apartment" of my parents when their kids start families of their own. So it can be a guest room, teen room (like I have it now), or elder pad. No CC and I did not use the Move Objects mod.

    4 Beds
    9 Baths - It's a large area and there are literally bathrooms everywhere...sims and their bladders...

      Awesome. I lovvvee the swimming pool, the blue pic with the city backdrop, and you art room. Outstanding.

      40 River Road is a very nice home! :) Very nice exterior design of it! It looks very nice the type of and how you have placed the glass windows in the build. The pool is very nice! Sims will enjoy cooking on the BBQ and eating their meal at the dining table there or enjoy sitting on a stoool at the bar counter having a drink from the bar. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! Very nice living room! The microscopic print on the wall looks nice with the colour of the seating. Sims will enjoy sitting resting on the sofa or armchair there reading a book, and the fireplace will keep the room warm. The tissue box and fruit photo frame on the coffee table are nice touches in the room. Great design of the kitchen! It looks very nice how you have placed the kitchen cabinets there. The bar stool counter is great for sims to enjoy sitting eating their meals at. The wall pattern looks great with the type of cabinets you have used. Nice dining room area. Sims will enjoy the sunlight coming in through the windows whilst dining there. The menu sign is a nice touch on the fireplace wall. Very nice bar counter corner nook area for sims to enjoy sitting there on the stool having a drink from the bar. The drinks display cabinet looks great there. Very nice art studio room! The paintings and pattern on the wall look great! The art themed decor look great there. Sims will enjoy painting on the easel. Very nice furnishing of the bedrooms! Great curved counter study nook area in the master bedroom. The flower on the desk there is nice for sims to enjoy seeing when sitting there using the computer. The clothes shelves on the wall near the door is a great touch. Very nice walk in dressing room! It looks great how you have placed the cabinets there to create a vanity table! The clothes shelves in the wall alcove and on the side wall and the shoes rack look great there. Very nice children's bedrooms! Nice pattern and colours that you have used for the bedroom walls. Great study desk nook areas for the sims to enjoy sitting reading a book or using the computer. Very nice children's playroom! It looks great how you have displayed the mysims trophies on the wall shelves! Child sims will have fun playing with the dollhouse. The paintings on the wall there look very nice. Sims will enjoy doing artwork on the art table or science work on the chemistry table. Nice music room for sims to enjoy playing the musical instruments together. Sims will have fun performing comedy routines using the microphone. Great gym room. It is great that sims can choose which gym equipment they want to use to do training on. They will enjoy watching tv whilst keeping fit. The paintings on the walls through the home add very nice looks to all the rooms!

      @JBEAR1 - Thank you! I had a hard time transitioning from their old house, but this one is so nice and spacious. I finally had a place to put the stuff in their inventory. And honestly, I can't wait to place the pool. I left enough space to make modifications if I need to, but I really hop it is drop in ready. LOL. And I'm glad you noticed the Art Studio. I didn't like it at first, but the new wallpaper and paintings really helped spruce it up.

      @rosemow - Thank you for your detailed critique. I always love to read what you write about all of the houses. You really pay attention to detail!

      Absolutely amazing! <3 I adore the interiors! So pretty! Love the way you have decorated and your choice of colours and patterns. That pool looks so real! Brilliant job! :D

      Oh man...so I just downloaded the house into a different save and, unfortunately, none of the paintings or any of the woodworking transferred with it. Man...that totally stinks.

      Sorry to hear that! I can understand your disappointment. Hope they fixes this in a patch.

      Hey Mstybl, that pic you had with the blue lights against the city inspired me to find the lot and build something there. So I put a box down, then 2 more, tried to move them and the bottom one ended up on the top hovering. Then I was like, hmm, guess this build is gonna hover...

      @JBEAR1 - Crickey! That is amazing! I love your use of the roofs and even the enlarged tables. So creative.
