    The best CC?

    I'm not too into CC so I don't really know where to look or what's going on in that community or anything, so thought I'd ask here. Is there any really good CC out yet that make Sims look better? In Sims 3 I had custom hair, eye colors, makeup, and skin. Can anyone point me towards the best? (unless nothing is out yet that really makes much of a difference; then I won't bother)

    For Sims 3 all I did was download a sim with a lot of CC from the website and then use the eye colors, hairstyles and skin that came with it on all my Sims.

      I recommend checking out LumiaLoverSims and DavidSims, they have nice hairs that fit the game's style somewhat.

      Every day I go mts to see what new objects/mods are there. I download something almost every day. http://www.modthesims.info/index.php?

      This is another site that probably I should be visiting every day, they are always adding things, I found some really nice skins here: http://mysims4blog.blogspot.com.es/

      Simsvip always seems to have a running list of cc too: http://simsvip.com/

      I'm waiting for Allaboutstyle to start making stuff for 4. Her stuff is great. My computer is slow today, can't get any more for you. But this is a start!

      I don't use The Sims Resource, my computer got a bad virus there, it cost me $150. to get rid of the darn thing.

      Really? All I used was TSR in TS2, thousands of things lol. I downloaded some things already recently. But for OP modthesims is good, I also like TSR.

      I know, I used to use them too (TSR) I had a paid subscription from them for a long time. But in the later days of ts2 BBS, it was stated by someone who had been associated with them that they started going crazy with what they called Pirates (people who found their objects on other sites for free) and started a "black list" of sorts, it was said. They gave us a link to the list and I was on that it. Every time I went on that site, my machine got in trouble. What they consider pirates are just people who get their stuff for free. They can not copy right their objects, as it is against the EULA with EA, so apparently they resort to other means since they can't sue. Anyway, I highly recommend you stay away from that site. If what I had learned is incorrect and I got a virus by coincidence? It's still a good idea to stay off that site.

      The best 3rd party content are textures only and not a single bit of data that's something else. Because that something else can interfere with a new official content/bugfix data and cause problems. Also that something else can be properties cheated in the game that are not obtainable through normal gameplay and could cause game breaking (for example some reaper skill or relax on the bed baloon).
