My First S4 Wedding Venue

This is my first attempt at a wedding venue in the sims 4.
It's not complete yet but I'd appreciate any comments about how to make it look a bit (or a lot) better. Thanks

Also my boyfriend thinks I always add to many flowers and plants to my lots...he may be right but I love flowers and plants and think they make everything look more cheerful.

This is all I've got so far. Trees surrounding the boundary of the lot, an area for the couple to get married, a bathroom, monkey bars for the kids to play on, and I still need to add a place for everyone to sit down and have some cake. I was also thinking maybe I'll move the bathroom to the other side of the lot away from the wedding arch.

I decided to move the bathroom over away from the arch and added some more detail like flowers and tables.
So here is an update and it's still a WIP but I think I like it better this way.

Your wedding venue WIP is looking very nice!

Your updated version looks great! It looks very nice how you have set up the outdoors wedding area with the arch and the seats for the guests to sit on either side and enjoy watching the marriage ceremony. The hedge fencing looks nice how you have placed it around the edges of this area. It looks very nice how you have done the flowers in the area to the left of the wedding area. It looks great how you have set up the tables and chairs dining area. The rocks look very nice lining the edges of the pathway, and it looks nice how you have placed flowers in the nook corners beside the stairs.
It is looking very nice!

I like it this way so much more. I wasn't sure about moving the bathroom but I'm so glad I did cause now it's not as crowded in that area of the lot, and the other side of the lot isn't empty.

I'd love for anyone to share any ideas to help me make this the perfect little outdoor wedding venue.
Also if anyone has any name ideas for it that would be very helpful.

Your wedding venue looks beautiful! I love how you have done the lush landscaping of the plants and the trees, and it looks very traditional and romantic, I love it!

I love your wedding venue! : D It looks absolutely lovely so far - and I have to disagree with your boyfriend, I really like how you landscape (and I'm right there with you on plants making things more cheerful, it's definitely appropriate for a wedding venue)! I hope you'll upload this once you're done, I'd love to get the generations of my legacy family married here. : )

I think the change of bathroom location was a really good idea, it visually kind of opens up the lot more. As for ideas, maybe adding a bar so your sims can make drinks or hire a mixologist for the wedding? I'd say perhaps an instrument for entertaining as well, but that might make things a bit too crowded!

I'll have another picture update up sometime tomorrow, and in the next few days when I get a chance I'll test it out with a couple of my sims and take a bunch of pictures to share with everyone, and after I make sure everything works and looks nice I'll upload it to the Gallery.

The wedding venue looks very nice!

Very nice reception area! Nice types of tables and chairs that you have placed there for sims to enjoy sitting, eating and drinking at. The flowers on the tables are pretty for sims to see when sitting there. Very nice bar counter for sims to enjoy sitting on the stools there and having a drink and a chat. It looks nice how you have placed the flowers on each end of the bar. The rocks either side lining the pathway to the wedding ceremony area looks nice, and the water fountain is a nice touch there. It looks very nice how you have done the flowers through the venue!
It is looking very nice!

I think you're choice to move the restrooms was a great idea. It definitely causes the ceremony area to be a prime focal point now.

Definitely nice choice moving the restrooms. Also good thing you added the bar, because I think one of the goals of a wedding party needs a bar (not sure, bc I haven't had a wedding party in my game yet).

And I love the stone-lined walkway. Very pretty lot. I always like to have lots of flowers too. Perfect for a wedding setting.

Hey, everyone my lot is finished!

But super sad news is I can't share the pictures right now cause my computer keyboard stopped working (I'm currently using my iPad) and I also can't share it to the Gallery right now either.

But as soon as I can afford a new computer or find enough time to borrow my dad's computer then I'll share the lot to the Gallery.

If I can find enough time later today I'll try and see if I can open up my game and share the lot to the Gallery.

So I borrowed my mom's USB keybored and managed to upload my wedding venue to the gallery for those of you who are still waiting for me to share it.

And I haven't done much summing lately due to working quite a bit and spending time with my new boyfriend (together 6 months now) also my laptop disappeared so I don't have a computer anymore

Thanks rosemow. I think it looks pretty good and I hope it works properly.
I've been meaning to get a new computer anyway but my boyfriend and I are mostly just confused as to where it went.
But since the sims 4 is for Mac now I can play around and create sims on his Mac.
