It slows the absolute time not the relative time, which means everything takes longer time to finish. Pointless mod.
That may be, but it's still better than the feeling of having to rush through everything so darn fast. I agree that activities need to be shortened... and this does nothing for that. But it's still 'feels' better, ya know? Call it a mind game or whatever. But it made my playing feel better.
I thought we were told that the Sims clock would be slower in this game already? I was excited about this because in both Sims2 & 3 time raced by all too quickly. I was glad to install the NRaas Relativity Mod, for that reason. I could slow down time (not the amount it would take for a Sim to do something, but time itself in the game). My singer Sim was ALWAYS late for his gigs, no matter how soon I sent him. After I installed Relativity I no longer had this problem.

It's not pointless for folks like Zarriel who find it has improved their experience. Neither is it pointless for the author as they've discovered how to change absolute time. I imagine there's more involved in tweaking the relative time alone, or we might have seen that sort of time mod first. To me that's an indicator that relative time is being looked in to though, so we may see a mod...relatively soon.
I do feel the change in the time, especially looking at the clock on the quickest time-speed. That said, I think the problem is the needs for the sims. They seem to drop way too quickly.
