For those who HAVEN'T gotten a CAS Demo...

So, I'm not sure if everyone knows this, but apparently, this is what the email reads;

"You have been specifically selected for this trial because of your experience with The Sims 3 and because you have opted-in to receive communications from EA."

So, I think I found a solution.

Go on your Origin account, Log In, follow the rest of the steps...

My Account > Privacy Settings > Scroll Down, until you see...

... click the box to check it, if not checked already. Then obviously, press Update.

I didn't have mine checked, so now it is.
Hopefully sometime this week you and I get it. :? I am that pathetically desperate.

Someone mentioned this; not sure if it helps anything, but get The Sims ticked, too!

I didn't get an Email. But when I logged into Origin I had a free copy of TS4 Demo already loaded up in it.

I find this odd because I've been very clear on my stance about TS4 (I hate it) and I don't remember applying for anything related to the Demo. I guess they just gave it out to random people?

Yes, that is exactly what happened. It was completely randomized it seems like... They chose a few famous youtubers who could discuss it, but everyone else seemed to be chosen willy-nilly.

I checked mine and my dad's account and it was already checked on both of them.

I keep checking both accounts but no demo yet.

Thank you for showing me where it was. I did check under the Account Privacy thing, but I must not have scrolled down far enough, initially. It's now checked. We'll see if it makes any difference or not. Otherwise, I shall just have to wait until the release is more widespread. Seems my graphics card might not be up to snuff anyway.

It's random. Completely. ((Except for ones sent to sites so they can promote the demo coming out)) Just have it open where EA can send you demo events and....Play the wait game.

I don't know if it'll help, but underneath that box, there's a list of games. I made sure "The Sims" box was checked as well.

I read your post , thought what they hay it's worth a try.

All I did was launch origin from my desktop icon, agreed to the latest update, go to my games or whatever, it lists my ton of sims 3 expansions and

There is sims 4 demo at the bottom! :shock: :shock:

Well, I guess I'll attempt the free download!

P.S. I didn't click or tick anything about recieving mail or demos, don't even know if I have it ticked.

Apparently if you are willing to show a Guru some cleavage, that's another way to score this demo.

I had that all checked way before all of this I even had The sims checked as one of the products I was interested in... and I still didn't get the demo....Patience is a virtue.

Just checked mine and didn't have it checked either. I checked it so hopefully I"ll see the demo soon.
