The company is aware of the backlash it has received from a long list of features removed from the base game.
First they tossed out letters explaining their actions, but thus far it is not working.
So now they are offering a free CAS demo, a 15 minute game play video and to sweeten the deal, they used a rather popular company-Amazon to give a sale off Sims 4.
Its kind of same concept at getting a kid to clean their room.
Parent: "If you clean your room, you can stay up an extra half an hour!"
Kid: "No!"
Parent: "How about an extra half an hour and a bowl of ice cream."
Kid: "No!"
Parent: "OK, how an extra half an hour, ice cream and five bucks?"

I only got the game from Amazon for $20!! I applied for a Visa card from them and got $60 off instantly from my order. Hopefully the game is worth the $20....

I hope that gives EA a pause and make them think seriously about delaying and making the product better.
