I preordered just after finding out about the different aging settings, this let me down on the sims 3 because I despised everyone aging around my sims. I have control issues xD
Excitement
I'm on the fence right now. Of course if the Sims 4 had CASt or even just a color wheel, I would probably buy it :-). But it doesn't so... yeah I'm on the fence.
Not buying. I went through all the EP's and SP's for Sims 2, then Sims 3 and all the excitement that came with each. And all the money I put into them. Now I'm settled in with all that stuff and starting over doesn't appeal to me right now, if that makes sense. Also, I just don't find myself excited by Sims 4. The graphics and some of the gameplay options simply don't appeal to me. Now, a few years down the road after they've released more EP's and SP's, maybe.
Sadly. I'm just so confused about TS4 at the moment so I'm going to wait, see what simmers say once they play the game and then decide. I just feel that at this point in time I don't have enough info to buy the game. And I don't want a game which is buggy and flat in terms of gameplay.
Probably not buying until they release 2 or 3 ep's. Was on the fence, but decided that it's really not worth my money until they make it worth my money.
On the fence about buying Day 1/Preordering. Still feeling the pain from SimCity. I get nervous when games are promoted as 'powerful'. Lions are powerful, not CAS. I'm hoping it doesn't mean "We sunk all our time into CAS, and gardening(or some other fun thing) was sacrificed for a later EP".
It is in my nature to be kind, gentle and loving...
But Know This:
When it comes to matters of protecting my friends, my family and my heart...
Do not trifle with me. For I am the most powerful and relentless creature you will ever know...
On the fence, do not want to waste my good money if game does not perform as it should.

I'm on the fence, because i have no problem with the sims 3.
I much prefer the open world to the new closed word they brought back.
The cartoonish graphic i don't really like, but its not that bad.
I don't feel like the new emotion and all that gibberish they are saying about the sims is that different to the sims 3.
I probably will end up buying, and mostly on or just after release date as i like to have the "newest" things, however at the present time i am on the fence.
