LOT SIZE, ADDRESS & FINAL COST: 40 X 40 500 Sunnyside Blvd, Sunset Valley $184,368
LOT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS: I've been looking at the build-n-share challenges for a while now, but every time I check I've missed the deadline so when this was extended I thought it was like fate so I decided to give it a try, um as for this build I wanted to use the flowerpot in as many ways as I could from using the wood texture and of course the color purple. I wanted to unify everything back to that single pot without being to boring about it.
CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM: Yes, please. I've never done anything like this before so a couple of comments would help if I ever decide to do it again. Thanks so much.

I tried your media link, and it is not working. Just a friendly heads up!

Thanks. I think it should work now. Hopefully.

Um, I have a few questions, to see if I'm off track or not.
1) Can the home only have 2 bedrooms or can it have more, cause I'm coming up w/ at least 3, maybe 4.
2) Can I add a door on the inside or am I limited to what I have.
3)Also, I kinda started in DV, how important is it that it's in SV? Can I just move it after I finish, but before I DL?
LOT SIZE, ADDRESS & FINAL COST: 40x40, 86 Landgraab Ave, Sunset Valley, $419,900
LOT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS:
Sylvan Estate: I chose the ring of posies as my inspiration (this time), and it inspired me to do a contemporary country decor. While building this I wanted to do something unique. So I did a gazebo... in a tree. Ideal for stargazing, painting or a relaxing game of chess. This build features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, laundry room, living room, formal dining room, family room, home gym, game room and a huge kitchen. Designed for a young family with areas for the kids and areas for the adults, keeping comfort and function in mind.

Hi I will answer your questions
1) 2 bedrooms is minimum if you have more that's fine
2) You cannot add doors, you are limited to what you have (there is 1 exception, because that door is missing, please read the explanation of that on the first page under the challenge)
3) We will judge whether it is in Sunset Valley or not, so when you make your pictures/screenshot, be sure to have it in SV then so when you are done, move it to SV and then make the pictures. (be sure to check any terrain paint you may have, it can shift when you place the lot somewhere else)
Ooh this is what I get for not paying attention. Great that we got another week for this, but I still need to finish some of these assignments before I do any simming. I'll see how I go anyhow.
Even with the week extension I don't think I'm going to be able to join! I just got back from a week long road trip! It was fun but I did really really want to enter this showdown! Maybe next time!
I'm excited to see so many people entering! I can't wait to judge and see what everyone has done to this home!
Two more days to get in those Designer Showdown entries! For the next challenge, we have something special planned that we hope you'll be very excited about.

LOT SIZE, ADDRESS & FINAL COST: 40x40- 5 Summer Hill Court, Sunset Valley- $527,476
LOT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS: I chose the Purple flower pot as my main inspiration item. I used the item more than once in my final layout. Most of the rooms have both purple and brown in the layout along with color accents in other rooms. My Favorite room is the Living Room it looks so sophisticated. The Master is downstairs and has more of the brown/purple grown up theme that leads out to the grill patio. The second bedroom has the feel of a young girl’s room the Third bedroom is for the boys of the family or a nice guest room. Artwork flows throughout the house trying to compliment colors. I wanted to have a party pad so lots of pools, games and sand worked around the whole back yard/side yards; Leaving the front yard with plush grass and a nice pond. Palm trees accent the whole yard. The kitchen layout really fit the space that I was looking for. I had to add the stage there so you could enjoy live entertainment while you eat. Includes a lounging area to watch around the fireplace; Walking out of the kitchen to the right is the dance floor and bar surrounded with greenery and a stereo. Finally the Family Room is upstairs that includes tons of seating, a theater section for movie legit movie watchers and a small kitchen.

My guess for the next challenge would obviously have to say something to do with Fairy Sims! I have no clue what else lol.

LOT SIZE, ADDRESS & FINAL COST: 40x40 Sunset Valley $344,568
LOT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS: I chose the game visor. I used the grays and blacks from the visor and mixed in some "Sega"-ish purple and red as accents. The house and family are a mixture of gothic and gamer and full on nerds! They even run a gaming business from home where they develop their own video games. Merlin used to more in to sports, and he still favors golf. Rayven is an excellent seamstress and makes up costumes for their games as well as decorative things for their home. They have twin girls, Cameo and Nitro, who are a little less goth and more into pink.

Hi everybody!! Been busy finishing up some projects I started before I found BNS while waiting for a challange that got my creativity going. When I try to force creativity I never get good results so has to wait for that right one, that unicorn among the horses. I've learned some new tricks, like making my own custom pictures for my builds from any picture I can download! Also making my 1st machinima music video! If anyone wants to know how to do the custom pictures for your builds just stop by my page and ask. Hope everyone is well and POST THAT NEW CHALLAGE already pulling my hair out waiting!!
My game keeps crashing and windows keeps saying 'we will try and find a solution to the problem' etc etc.
I have no custom content in my game except from the things I buy in the store. I'm sure what the issue is ):
If I can't get it done on time, I'll still try and finish and upload it when it is done.

Rachelle - our judges only evaluate your pictures for the challenge, so you are welcome to join even if you can't export your lot. Not sure how to help on that front. Hopefully someone else will have a suggestion for you

If they don't give you a link, the first page of this thread always has a link to the winner's circle--then go to the last page.
I copied this off the second post on the first page. The link there says Winner's Circle.

is there any other way to upload the lot??
Remove all custom content which isn't genuine EA content from your game. Custom content can mess your game up, I personally refuse to use any.
If that doesn't help then I'd suggest contacting EA, they have a helpline which can help you solve any issues.
Make sure your game is up to date as well.
If none of those help, last option would probably be uninstalling then reinstalling the sims.
Check them here
Sorry they have been delayed so long! But thank you for your patience.
