Thank you for featuring The Sandbar in your showcase :D
It seems to be missing it's star :!:

    Hi sash!
I don't think they feature all the creations they choose for the exchange showcase.
I'm not 100% about that though.

(Your houseboat is beautiful by the way).

    Estyle,
I got the feature message and it's on the regular feature wheel :D
My last feature was also missing a star and Hydra was able to get it fixed. I don't think the stars stick

    This thread is really blooming!

Some of my own personal thoughts, for what little they're worth and in no particular order:

AliaBaugh, that riverboat is superb and so realistic. I just love it! It will fit so well into worlds that have big rivers to cruise (p. 12).

Charicharn, I would like to comment on your bistro boat, but I am one of the judges in that contest, so I should probably stay mum for now.

Drslimi, your elaborate island development is pretty cool and looks like it's straight out of the old Myst games (p. 13).

I already have EmpressPamela's cute Shark Bait boat in my game and have made it my hunky ocean fisherman's home (p. 7).

Ruthless_kk's Fantastical Floating Machine (p. 7), BeasleyQ2's Cleopatra boat (p. 6) and Larifari's Jewel of the Seas (p. 6) are of course stunningly gorgeous, detailed, eccentric and over-the-top with fun. I can't wait to play with those.

I like everything that Sashraf builds - ever and always.

Wecantpickaname, I also love your building style and talent. I did a thorough rec'ing of your studio yesterday. This Finding Romance featured here is particularly dreamy (p. 11).

Finally, estyle has posted two builds here that are high on my own list. Both Azure Reef Resort (p. 2) and Sea La Vie (p. 11) are just fantastic. His design talent is undeniable, but I also appreciate his artistic ability with elegant, aesthetic color coordination and knack for somehow creating flavor and mood with inanimate objects.

Now, back to perusing and drooling. . .

This is Nautical Dreams! It is a red, blue, and white house. It is suppose to be a Modern Contemporary house! There are three beautiful bedrooms and five amazing bathrooms. Beautiful blue reflective floors invite you into the home and bring your eye up the wall. living room to your right, main floor blue bathroom to your left through the door. Walk farther into the house and find a electric red dinning table and a beautiful kitchen. Around the corner from the kitchen is the red Laundry room. That is just the first floor. So step your Sims into the gorgeous Nautical Dreams. Relax and enjoy the view.

Warning: REFLECTIVE FLOOR MODS ON FIRST FLOOR ONLY!

You will have to go look at it for yourself to see what it looks like!

    Houseboat
    Royal Fortress - 1br, 1ba
    Houseboat.jpg
Prowling the seven seas like a big white glacier, the Royal Fortress houseboat boasts many features that not many houseboats in the current market have. While the exterior of the fortress may seem dull and lifeless, the interior is an explosion of contrast colors. With a romantic red master bedroom and a low-light theatre, your Sims will never get bored on a trip around the seas in this wealthy yacht. Available for download at : http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7427549
    Resort
    Paradiso Moda Resort
    Resort.jpg
Best placed in Isla Paradiso on 101 Surf Circle, the resort gets a magnificent 180 degree view of roaring waves. Owned by Lady Moda herself, the resort aims for all Sims to get the perfect amount of relaxation and paradise all on one lot. With an indoor gym Sims can stay fit while on vacation, especially since the abundant amount of buffet tables are all calling their name. The kids can spend an afternoon in the pool or by the ocean while the parents have fun in the Blue Moon Nightclub either dancing or gambling away all of last month's earnings. Why spend time elsewhere when you can find so much to do all at the Paradiso Moda Resort? Available for download at : http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7424639
    Sims
    Tiburón Asesino
    98fe91b5-6f28-4cae-b5a2-392f5341ef17.jpg
Tiburón Asesino has been a swimmer almost all of his life. When Tiburón was a child, his parents moved to a beach house on the sunny coast of Sunset Valley. Everyday, Tiburón would rush home from school just to go for a swim in the ocean. Many of his classmates would tease him saying he had "gills like a fish"; Tiburón didn't mind because he knew they were joking and probably jealous of his swimming skills. As he got older, Tiburón kept swimming and eventually made it into a career, first as a swimming teacher during his high school years and eventually into a master lifeguard. Tiburón now saves many Sim lives on the Sunset Valley beaches from the dangers of not knowing how to swim and the dangers that lie in the rare occurrence of a shark attack. (No current download, sorry)
    Shirley Shine
    Mermaid.jpg
Shirley Shine used to be an absolute nobody. Shirley had no career, no friends, no home, and no material possessions except for the clothes on her back. Shirley wouldn't beg for food or money like most other homeless Sims, she would find a way for herself to earn it; yet she barely had enough to eat to make it through every single day. Shirley would travel endlessly, drifting from city to city, eventually catching a boat ride to Isla Paradiso, Shirley finally saw some hope for a better future. While things were not easy for Shirley in Isla Paradiso, she was luckily able to get a job as maid in a cheap run down resort. One night at work on the resort, Shirley was all alone picking up garbage on the beach. Suddenly, Shirley heard rustling in the water, as if a fish or a Sim was swimming rapidly towards her. Yet when Shirley turned to look she didn't see anything, just the regular movement of the ocean waves. When Shirley went back to picking up the garbage, she noticed a sparkling piece of kelp that was not there before. Shirley recognized this type of kelp, it was edible and helped the Sim body. "It usually isn't sparkling.. But I am starving.." Shirley thought to herself as she started eating the sparkling kelp. Much time went on and it was now time for Shirley to head back to the homeless shelter, as she was walking she began feeling very queasy. Shirley felt her skin becoming very rough and scaly, she wasn't sure what was happening but felt like her body needed to be in a tub of water or better yet, the ocean. Shirley sprinted back to the ocean, removing all of her clothes and instantly sprouting a mermaid tail as soon as she entered the water. Shirley was not sure how this had happened, but she was not complaining, she now was free. Free from bills, free from judgement of other Sims on her poverty, and could now live the life she wanted to. No one is exactly sure of Shirley Shine's current location, but rumors say she still swims in the Isla Paradiso ocean. Floridian Beach Shack

This is also my entry for the 10x10 contest. This is a typical floridan beach that shack that you would usually find on Florida's Gulf Coast; due to their locations, the home is built with hurricane sturdy wood. This house consists of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a combined kitchen/dining; and a cozy living room

I created a pirate-y boat for some Dragon Valley elves (after placing and creating a port in DV). The process was a lesson in economy, since the lot was far too small for all the items I wanted on it, even with the basement. :P

No CC sea-farin', dragon-toting pirate ship:

Ist floor has living room which looks out to the Swimming pool. 2nd floor has 2 double bedrooms and Bathroom. Top floor has woodfire oven and dining/relax area the houseboat motor is accessed from there. Store content & EP's used BUT No CC (has been checked)

Hi, love the works shown so far! This is my contribution - It's called the Nautilus and was originally a Mermaid hangout, but those pesky humans have discovered it and made it their own. The outstanding features of the Nautilus are: 1) Moonpool with fishies, 2) Fish who love The Nautilus so much they follow it around 3) A large and rather scary visitor who might drop by if you switch on the stereo!

    The Bray Family:

Bio: John and Carla Bray hails from Riverview. They were high school sweethearts that married immediately after school and decided to start their family. Riverview is a sleepy little town though and offered no excitement for this young couple. They packed up their daughter Emma and decided to relocate to a more tropical setting. John has always wanted to be a lifeguard and Carla longs to scuba dive for a living. Is this the best environment for little Emma or are her parents being selfish?
