I love, love, love all the lots, Sims, and stories shared here! Great contributions, everyone!
Island Paradise has really inspired me to build like a crazy fool - I have houseboats, resorts, houses on stilts, and even a little island (30 x 30) ploppable-in-your-ocean garden home. I also built several different styles of restaurants, some of them on the water, too - and a couple of houseboat-styled nightclubs.
Unfortunately, although I have tried several times over the past few weeks, I cannot upload any of them. I always get a "Failed to Share . . ." message when I try.
I'm hoping that eventually, someday, something will actually succeed in uploading! I don't build the best in the SimWorld, but they are definitely fun to play. If they weren't I wouldn't bother.
I definitely look forward to seeing more contributions from everyone on this thread - I'm starting to regain my belief that Simmers are amazing people - so creative and talented!

I had the same problem with my Sim 3 luancher uploads the trick that worked for me was to disable custom content on the Sims 3 luancher.
Maybe this will work for you as well open your Sims 3 luancher click on The Installed Content Tab and click on The run without Custom Content on the upper right corner.
Then go into your Sims 3 game and let the game replace everything that was a custom content then save the file that has no custom content in it onto your clipbord to be shared and uploaded to the luancher and again to The exchange.

Here is my submission for the Keeping Afloat contest. He's a Lifeguard Sim. Jake Merrill has always aspired to become a Lifeguard ever since he was a child. He's now a Young Adult and ready to start protecting the citizens of Isla Paradiso. No Custom Content, no Create-A-Pattern. Verified with Custard. Thanks!

I also have a couple of resorts Here is the first one.
This resort is called Guillermo's Place, because I had my sim open it in memory of her husband, who was named Guillmero, who died after running out of air whilst scuba diving!
A basic, beach themed resort, hidden on it's own island. Guillermo's place offers many amenities such as: Gym equipment, a swimming pool complete with a pool slide, pool bar and waterfall and a firewalking pit. Also try our endless buffet, which offers a variety of food from breakfast through to dinner. Whilst at Guillmero's place, stay in our cozy beach bungalows, and you won't have to lift a finger due to room service and spa services available in the main building!
His story:
Jon's family is originally from Aurora Skies, but he has now moved to Isla Paradiso to explore the wonders of the deep and enjoy the sunny weather. He's loving all the outdoors activities Isla Paradiso has to offer and is also working as a lifeguard to pay for his athletics education at university. In his free time, he loves to go diving, snorkling and windsurfing. His irresistible trait also makes him a popular guest at beach parties.

Good job with that. I built a resort too, but I didn't risk the eco-modern style. This massive tower scared me a little and I was afraid I could not find a way to blend it with the rest. So good job once again. It looks amazing !

Thank you so much for the feedback and compliment about my resort! I found the Eco-Modern tower such a tempting challenge, because I really enjoy modern and contemporary styles! But it really did take some time to figure out how to work that big tower into the rest of the build :P The other colour options for the tower are very nice also, so I can't wait until my game will allow me to change the colours again, and then I'll build 2 other Eco-Modern resorts, and enjoy the challenge of coming up with 2 new ways to work with that big tower!!

Yes, the front is the back but it looks best from the dock that way.
-There's no fishing off the sides because of the fence.
It started out as Doll house but somehow the Pirates just snuck in and too over! :shock:
1 bed/1bath, wood & white house and an open deck. Room to store your boat and still room on deck for more. The modern furnishings and sleek S-shape are pure elegance, and miles above other houseboats. -Inspired from- the Rieul. No CC- but Store items used. by Rflong7 =]

Thank you so much for the feedback and compliment about my resort! I found the Eco-Modern tower such a tempting challenge, because I really enjoy modern and contemporary styles! But it really did take some time to figure out how to work that big tower into the rest of the build :P The other colour options for the tower are very nice also, so I can't wait until my game will allow me to change the colours again, and then I'll build 2 other Eco-Modern resorts, and enjoy the challenge of coming up with 2 new ways to work with that big tower!!
