"time is up" i say, while collecting the many tests. The bell rings, signalling the end of school. "okay students, those of yous that are particapting in clubs can participate in the clubs now. those that are not in any afterschool activity, can go home"

I collected my books and smiled at Richard. 'Well time for my first club, see you tomorrow.' I said and headed for the library. I was so excited! My first club activity. I just hoped Abigail wasn't going to be awkward to work with.

I watched Elizabeth leave. She's a peculiar one. I thought. I gathered my things and headed home. No doubt Dad will want me to help with some accountancy issues he was having the other day.

I sat at the table, taking out a notepad and pen. I had brought one of the previous newspapers I had looked at earlier and flipped through it as I waited for the others to turn up.
