I haven't had much time to play yet, I first wanted to make a sim for this EP. My sim is called Jon Thorsen, and he's the firstborn son of the family I created for Aurora Skies. Now it's time for Jon to move to Isla Paradiso! 8)
His story: Jon is the first born son of my sims Arvid Thorsen and Julie McCallister. He's all about sports, and would love to go to university to become an athletics major. His parents however can't afford this on their own and Jon will have to find a job over the summer to make up for the rest. He's thinking of travelling to Isla Paradiso and applying for a job as a life guard. That way he'll stay fit, earn a decent income and still have plenty of free time to go snorkling and diving there as well.
My sim Lucien Blake on his vacation in France. He doesn't have any vacation home in Champs Les Sims so he cannot owns a boat. But he still can use the taxi boat to go snorkeling and windsurfing.

I don't have University Life EP so my sim cannot get the new drinks that come with Island Paradise from the fridge. But he went to Catalina Cafe and buy some of them. And he even can put them in his inventory.

This is how you spend the summer. Unfortunately I've learned that the self-employed and professional sims cannot check-in to a resort without the game freezing and crashing. So I will not have any pics of resort living unless I go into the resort business.

unfortunately I missed the countdown for him to get back in salwater and he turned back human. I will soon be fixing this- I'm going to turn him and his daughter into mermaids. I can't remember their names but they are townies. Medina family. He was divorced when my sim met him.
Jack Sharkfighter is freshly cut out of the mold and on his way for that very first dive into the big blue.
In the depths down below he meets a beautiful silver-haired mermaid whose name i don't remember. He decided to chat her up, so he didn't get to do any exploring during that dive. XD His time went up so fast.
However, as he dived again he explored his surroundings a lot more thouroghly. He also made auqaintance (sp?) with a couple more mermaids of both genders, aside from discovering and collecting treasures and other underwater wonders.
Loving the ocean, Jack spent much of its time in it, either diving or chilling out on his houseboat. However, the world on land also had it's perks, he discovered.
Whether on land or in the water, Jack also made friendships during his wild ride to become a master diver, and one day decided to throw a little get together.
It wasn't a lot of room, but the guests nonetheless appeared to enjoy themselves, relaxing and making themselves comfortable in his home. None so more than his furry shipmate though, who promptly fell asleep on the kitchen counter.
I didn't know kitties could sleep on the kitchen counter in this game? I've played with the pets expansion pack for quite some time; and I have owned both dogs, horses,and cats but THIS has never happened before. Has this been recently programmed into the game to make the cats more realistic? Since, you know, that's something they'd definetely do in real life.
I'd never allow my cat to sit there like this in real life, but look at her! Aaaaw, she looks pretty decorative, doesn't she?
She also helped Jack clean up after the party. He would still have to clean the oven all by himself, but she was more than willing to help out with the calzone one of the guests had brought along.
Love Jack Sharkfighter! great pics. That's awesome that you met a mersim your first time diving. Took me 4 and a half seasons- about 35 in game days before I saw a Mersim underwater. And I've yet to see the Triton King. Only met the Ariel look alike.
I'm hoping to buy IP tonight and download it overnight so I can play tomorrow. I was too anxious for it to wait until there is a sale so I decided to bite the bullet and part with an extra $30 Game looks too awesome to wait. The upside is it will be coming with a free stuff pack so I can pretend that makes it all better even though I don't purchase stuff packs and don't know yet which one to get as none of them interest me :?:

Martin isn't rich... so his raft is humble...
And it's his first day out at sea, so his mission? He just took a scuba class and is ready to snorkel out by the reef, time to ...drive? His raft to a dive spot!
Lil' to Martin's knowledge, the sim god had other plans for Martin...

At least Martin has a few new collectables to pay for the damage!
Got it earlier today and have been playing ever since, even though it's lacking a bit in content I still love it and it is at least '#4' in my Top Expansions. I really like the world and I've had so much fun exploring the dive-spots and unlocking uncharted islands.
I made a household of four. And then I later discovered a 'Mermaid' who I totally pimped out to perfection, if I do say so myself!
This is Terrance or 'Terra'. He is a Lifeguard and a single-dad of two little children.
This is Terra's best friend forever who is letting him and his children stay at her houseboat until the get up on their feet, Selphy.
This is Terra's eldest daughter Papreeka. She is a generally nice and kind girl, but, she hasn't taken a liking to Selphy for various reasons.
This is Terra's youngest, Parker. Parker is very energetic and care-free, he is still classified as a young boy unlike his sister who is almost a teenager.
And, finally; This is Imelda the young woman/fish from the dee blue. She is a mermaid and is happy to be on land since she doesn't really like water all too much!

ROFLMAO dead. gosh this is so funny. My first ever meteor hit happened probably 2 years ago when I was throwing a birthday party. Did your sim earn the ability to poison? Mine did.
Also, could you upload his boat on the exchange? I'd love to have it.
Liznique, I don't even know where to start with Yousef. All these crazy memories swarming my head. He was a cutie from Egypt, tried hooking my sim up with him, invited him over, had a little chat, thought things were going great, right? Then My sim tried "leaping into his arms", he moved to the side and she fell on her bum. :shock: Never seen that move by any other sim before or after that. Other times I thought they were getting all romatic, he refused kisses and all. Just a host of bad memories but my sim really wanted to get with him. (ok I really wanted her to get with him) Anyway, she ended up with Seth Monroe when Showtime came out. lol drama much?
Really? I didn't have any probs with Youseff at all. In fact he's my favorite foreign townie.

Thank you. I'm rather proud, as he turned out such an enjoyable sim to play. I was considering to upload him to the exchange but I can't remember if I actually did so.
Anyway, I had an idea for a different family; a pirate-y guy and his wife and a pet. They'll probably dabble in a lot more than just diving as their ultimate wish is to discover all of those uncharted islands. ( wich I understand requares quite a lot of accomplishments on their part. :shock: )
More pics is probably coming. Maybe. ^^
