If you are unlucky you will get redownloade problems, so make sure you have a back up!

I'd assume you could write a message on their wall saying you'd like to give them your code (if you have someone in mind already), and then you could work out some other means of communication (ex. email, or PM services through another website, etc.)
Not the ideal solution, but I can't really think of a better one at the moment...
EDIT: Another person hosting a BB lottery came up with the idea of gifting the code along with an item to the person they wanted to give it to as you can write a note to the person when gifting them an item. I guess that would probably work better if you want to keep communication private
