So as I was thinking I forgot to mention to all the models that the races are just a challenge everyone must face throughout this competition. Assignments may vary, however most likely they won't have anything to do with the Elven or Fae Race. Just thought I'd announce this before we started. I totally forgot and I thought that most of the models originally thought assignments would be based on the races themselves but it's merely a challenge.
After Assignment One, the elimination rounds begin...

PART ONE:
Assigned Fairy Tales
Threnody: Alice in Wonderland
Penoy: The Little Mermaid
Part One Example: Let's say my chosen fairy tale was Beauty And The Beast. Honestly, the most important part in Beauty And The Beast was when she discovered the beast was really a prince. So, for my photo I'd design some sort of castle and make my model to look like Belle and make an extra sim to become the Prince. And I'd pose them together holding hands on the balcony under the moonlight.
Requirements and Restrictions:
-You are NOT allowed to change any drastic feature on your model, that means no changing skintone, facial features, body weight, etc.
-Changing the hair color and hairstyle is fine.
-You are allowed to make extra sims (no maximum or minium, make as much as you need)
-No editing (even light editing, NO EDITING WHATSOEVER)
PART TWO
Okay, so this one is tricky.
1. You need to take one of your past assignments in this competition. For example, you choose the Candyland assignment.
2.Alright, you've chosen your past assignment. Now you need to go back into the game and re-create your set once more, (don't worry it doesn't have to be EXACTLY alike).
3. While re-creating your set, instead of light and bubbly... turn everything into a horrific set with gory and frightening backgrounds and such.
4. Your past assignment must looks demonic, frightening, scary, Gothic or dark. THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF LIGHT.
Requirements and Restrictions:
-Must use a past assignment!
-Must have a dark twist to your photo!
-You can change your set but DO NOT drastically change everything. I need to know that the original light set was there you just need everything to be dark and gloomy.
-Changing your model's outfit and hairstyle to match the dark theme is a boost!
-Editing is permitted for this photo
-Try your best to maintain the originality of the original photo, don't try to change everything COMPLETELY.

Nice work, Britt! I think this is a really cute photo, and it totally makes me think of Alice in Wonderland. However, there were a few things I might have done differently. I think since she's falling down a rabbit hole, it would've been cool if you made the picture tall vertically, and slim horizontally- and then had her near the bottom of the picture, with more stuff at the top. That's just a way you could've made the picture more interesting, and with the model closer to the camera it would've improved the quality. I do LOVE her pose though; it's very high fashion-fantasy. The only other thing I can see is that the items you chose were a bit random, but not in a good, whimsical way. I would've like to have seen stuff that made a bit more sense...The chubby unicorn toy just doesn't fit in. Hehe.

I somewhat liked this photo. I think this is an important part of Alice and Wonderland. I’m not sure, but the angle is a bit awkward maybe something more slender to represent her falling down. With this photo length it looks a bit awkward and it doesn’t seem to give that falling down atmosphere. Great creativity when your placing the objects, but it seems a bit plain and several objects that are falling down just don’t fit in with the Alice and Wonderland theme. Other than this great job!

Now this picture I think is really cool, dark, and edgy! Your model looks like a total gothic rock star, so nice work. The pose is so fierce and sexy, like she's trying to seduce people to be her victims or something. I really do like the Hard Candy theme, it almost reminds me of a modern-day Hansel & Gretel. Although, I do have to say, I don't think this idea was very creative. There was nothing really original, all you did was make a dark version of your past photo- rather than come up with a new idea to incorporate.

This photo is great! I love the dark and scary sense it has. Your model looks fantastic! Although I wish you could have had more of your own taste to it you know? Everyone has their own taste in photos, sets, outfits, etc. This is a very fashionable photo! Your model’s pose and appearance are a great combination! Lovely assignment!

This was such a beautiful picture, BlackStar! It really reminds me of The Little Mermaid, especially because you did so well with their costumes. I think the whole photo is set up very nicely, I like how the two models are the main focus. The only thing I would've done differently was the background. I don't like how it's foggy in the distance, which I don't think was intentional. Also, it would've been really cool if you could've found a ship to place in the background, it would've really made this photo perfect.

Great photo! It was expressed very well, but I think the background is a bit plain. I think there should be some sort of background to really express the The Little Mermaid theme, maybe a castle or the sea. The photo is very cramped and you have the oppourtunity to expand the photo and add background objects and really get that little mermaid theme a boost! So don’t miss this oppourtunity and explore different types of landscapes when taking your photo.

I'm sorry for the low score, but I am really just not feeling this picture. It doesn't make sense to me, and it really just doesn't look well thought out. There's just way to much going on; the fairy wings, the skulls, her face paint, that overpowering seaweed- and none of it goes together. I think the problem is you chose a difficult picture to recreate in a dark version- underwater photos are hard enough let alone. Judging by your first picture, I know you can do better than this. I'm just not a fan of this picture, unfortunately.

Great effort with this assignment. However, it concerns me why your model has wings in this photo and she doesn’t In the other photo. Anyway, great way of combining the evil and the ocean assignment together but the combination didn’t work well. Your model’s pose is a bit awkward, maybe a more fierce and relaxed pose would be great. Your model’s appearance is a bit awkward, I don’t think the face paint was necessary. At the bottom of your photo it’s like your model’s leg is blurred out or something, not sure what it is exactly but I know it doesn’t look well. The editing in this photo is very rough and needs a lot of practice. I don’t really sense the opposite or evil touch to this photo.

A. No you do not, it's to give a little insight of what people don't know about Elves and Fairies. Fairies can have pointy ears and long hair of any color just as Elves could. However Elves cannot have fairy wings.
