Dine out fixed thanks to Carl's Dine out mod

If you haven't tried Carl's Dine out mod yet, do! I have been giving up on restaurants as a visit could take anything from 6-12 hours. I regularly had to make my sims leave so they could go get something to eat to prevent them from starving to death, not to mention that every restaurant always looked horrible from all the dirty dishes left on the table.

I installed the mod just half an hour ago, took my sims to the restaurant and lo and behold they were done eating a mere three hours later. No waiting for hours for nothing to happen, just pleasant talking and eating. Cook was in the kitchen - instead of outside. Waiters were working as they are supposed to. This is a major difference, not just some small fix.

Seriously, even after one try, I can say that this will be one of the mods I feel I cannot play without.

What a great mod this is! Carl has made taking my sims out to eat so much easier...like it's supposed to be.

Carl has also fixed the gardening with his gardening overhaul mod, a really great mod that fixes all the stupid stuff Maxis did to gardening. Thank heavens!

I wonder if the sims team are just relying on mods now to fix the game. I don't download mods so...

Hoping the staff of EA will still fix this pack soonest.

I love mods, but I agree that we shouldn't have to rely on them for the game to work as intended. Still, until they fix it, I'm grateful for mods like this. It really makes all the difference and makes going to restaurants fun again. (I really cannot wait for a Dine Out refresh. Let's hope it's in the works.)

I am really jazzed about 3.0. Glad to learn when it's available to the Public. I missed the Sims2 for this reason. I want the Sim to be able to start out as their own Chef, which is logical. Thank you for bringing our attention to this mod. I'm entirely too excited. I may just go ahead and give Aaron a wife, now. LOL She's a Chef, and I always wanted her to have her own restaurant. I may even play rotation style to test out the mod!
