Question About Having To Link Origin To Steam For A Game...

I got the complete edition of Dragon Age: Inquisition during a Steam sale last year and I'm just now downloading it. Now, I only use Origin for one game - TS2: UC, I don't play TS4 and I have TS3 on Steam because I realllllyyyyyy do not like Origin. So imagine my surprise when I go to launch DA:I (from Steam) and I get a prompt to connect my Steam account to Origin to launch the game. :eyeroll;
This probably sounds dumb, but if I do connect my account (Origin - Steam) will it do anything to TS3 (which I play through Steam)? The whole reason I rebought TS3 through Steam was to leave Origin, so you can understand if I'm wary of Origin coming anywhere near Steam.
