The Game Finked on My Sim!

I have and very much enjoy the Parenthood pack. Often the school calls the parents to report on something either good or bad. This time, as the phone was busy ringing, I get a popup about how Aaron, the eldest Teen, is unhappy with his math grade. He has two options: Average the grade or Extra Credit. I chose Extra Credit for him. Moments later his mother gets yet another call from this school. This call is one that is oft repeated, but in this case, it was totally explained. Guess who was caught trying to hack into the School's computer system?

Yes, you got it. None other than Aaron. (And to think he's got a career in the Judicial Branch in his future. LOL Or maybe I should say Whoopsie.)

I just love it when the game plays back with me.

Please share moments when it seems the game finked on your Sim(s). This could be fun!

I don't know if you would call this a fink or not, but it did involve one of my teens in the past. One afternoon my teen boy got a phone call from his girlfriend asking him out to dinner at a restaurant. I checked the time and thought sure why not, it was still quite early in the afternoon. For some dumb reason, it took the restaurant way too long in getting the meal to the young couple. By the time they were served their meal, and ate it, it was already an hour past curfew. The teen's mom was not happy and said something about a punishment when he got home. Well I figured since he was going to be in trouble I decided to just have him stay out for the rest of the night, he ended up crashing somewhere for the night. The next morning just before he was to head off to school did I have him return home. Did he get into trouble? Nope, there was not even an option for the parents to say a word, and they never brought up his punishment.

@LaBlue0314 I would call that a game pack flaw. Consequences. There must be consequences when rules/laws are broken, lest the perpetrator thinks it's just okay. :open_mouth: I've had the dining experience go on for way longer than in real life with a staffing shortage situation. If you are able, place one or two more cooking stations inside the restaurant, it does help a little. Or at least it used to help. I do think that somewhere along the line of endless patches, dining got borked. Which is too bad. I like my couples to propose at a fancy restaurant, you know?

I did end up fixing the problem since then, by adding a couple more cooking stations. Just thought it was a bit funny having a normally good kid end up breaking all the rules.
