My sim's dog (Loyal, Active and Friendly) has not reacted to the wild foxes that have darted around the yard. The couple of times it sneaked in the coop and stole an egg my sim was able to stop it and retrieve the egg (a hen and rooster have also been attacked and both times successfully fought it off).
The dog was nowhere near the coop any of those times, to be fair, sleeping or interacting with a member of the family on the other side of the farm. But it would be nice if the dogs in the game could be like watch or guard dogs and just sense when a fox was approaching. The dog does react to and interact with my chickens, but doesn't seem to notice the wild foxes at all (mind you, I don't know if he's even seen them at this point; they are so quick).

I've never seen this happen in my game but my sim's dog has the friendly trait. What traits did the dog have? Does that make a difference I wonder?
