Hidden Dream house Decoractor top is bugging the plumbob outta me

But basically the thing that's bugging me is that there's a really cute top that came in the new game pack but only male sims can wear it. The top only appears when dressing male sims after removing masculine tag. Remove the tags while dressing a female sim and nothing.... why?
