Edamame Recipe

My Sim bought edamame from the food stall, but I never got a notification that she learned how to make the recipe. Is this a glitch, or is edamame not on the recipe list of foods Sims can learn how to make? This happened with her husband as well.

I think it's under the Quick Meals menu. I could be wrong, but it seems like that's where I saw it last.

also I think your cooking level has to match the recipes to learn them.
