I literally play this music above when playing Sims 4! Cozy and Fuzzy
If memory serves correct though, they don't pass out either, so it's a double edged sword.
I've been balancing my game lately, so I really enjoy the cursed. Some are mods and some are self imposed rules.
I have a mod that makes the revival and copypasto spell generate a LOT of charge, to the point that a fresh witch could explode on the first try, and it's very likely to fail.
The mod also makes the needs potion only recover physical needs. It also requires more ingredients.
Discharging also reduces the energy need by 20 percent, preventing you from abusing it.
My self imposed rules is that sims can only pick one school of magic to master. They can learn all the spells if they want aside from the ultimate spell each sage teaches, they can only learn from their chosen sage. I find it more fun having witches specialize in things.
So my one sim is an untamed witch, she has the perk that makes untamed spells never fail in normal range and build less charge, but I won't let her get the practical or mischief version.
That being said, the more powerful bloodline trait they have the more perks I allow them to buy.
I appreciate the curses because it gives a bit of a negative side to magic. Although this particular curse is definitely not my favourite. My spellcaster has the curse that turns her green every now and then and I like it.
I use a mod to increase the ingredients for the potion of needs and a mod to make it fill all needs except sleep. I like to have a normal day/night cycle for my sims.
My sims also can only specialise in one school of magic. They only get the perk for successful spells in their chosen specialisation. They can still get failed spells and curses from the other schools of magic.
