All makeup works. It's only that the sliders don't all apply. The skins will not show up in CAS if they are nondefault skins that you usually apply in CAS. They will show up if you apply them via Skin Details. Luumia reports that their default replacement skins are working, though I haven't seen info about what the UI looks like with them.

I usually apply them in skin details! That seems promising

Sorry for the inconvenience, I was unfamiliar with image hosting services as I had never used one before.
I'm currently using several "S-Club" skins and about 3 custom skins from different creators, all with icons and ready to use. You can see the icons in the picture.
It's easy to see, but I'm sorry I can't show you because there is no ready-to-use image hosting service. You can understand if you take a look at it, but it's a shame.
It's my hunch, but I think it works because they are all non-tanning products or skin-covering products.

more columns in cas still has issues despite being updated. I'm using 5 columns and when i press undo, it pushes skintones drastically to the left (cutting some off)

So are CC skin non-default still on sims that already have it but just not showing in case for newer sims? If that is the case would give an opportunity to move to the new EA skin for sims and remove CC for good.

Other than visually on the main menu, UI Cheats works in gameplay just fine. So it's still useable until it's updated. At least I'm not having any issues with it anyway.

(Update) The Melanin packs show up on the sims, but don't show up as swatches, so sims that already have the tones will still have them, but they can't be changed or replicated. You also can't change them to different tones in the pack, as you may have before. So as long as the packages are in your game, they'll show up on the sims they've been placed on. But they can only be changed to the ea swatches.

So, apparently the Simsperience custom skintones still show up on sims properly, but the swatches aren't selectable and the Miscellaneous category seems to be bugged as a result (as seen here if the link works). Is this the case with all the broken/unselectable skintones?

I don't know about the Miscellaneous category being bugged - I didn't see that in my testing - but yes, it's normal that where you used the skintone previously, it still works, but the rest of the mod function, the showing in CAS part for selection, doesn't work anymore.
