Let's play a little. If you were invited to join a team designing a new stuff pack for The Sims 4 having to do with clothing and cosmetic items what ideas would you put forward?

Parameters: Forget about cc for now, forget about taste being subjective, forget about wanting more gameplay, just roll with this idea for now and let your imagination take over.

Things on the table for the clothing part would be, tops/shirts, pants/skirts, shoes/boots, accessories (jewelry, glasses, hats, socks, tights), jammies/PJs, swimwear, seasonal clothing, formal wear, casual wear, business attire, party clothes, sportswear.
For cosmetic items would be hairstyles, hair cuts/lengths and colors, makeup styles/looks/colors, facial hair styles, tattoos, freckles/moles

Think about:
1. List the things you like to create the absolute most first and then on down to the bottom of your wishlist.
2. Try to describe the specific items as well as including broader categories.
3. How would you make it fresh and new or fit in with other items already in cas?
4. What kinds of colors would you like to see or see more of?
5. What kinds of styles or looks would you like?
6. Do you have theme ideas?
7. Do you have time periods in mind?
8. Items for specific genders, age groups or occasions?
9. Occult specific ideas?
10. ??

What else?

The Stuff Pack would be eclectic in terms of content and have unusual attire and makeup options. I could see the pack being sold with a trailer riffing on The Munsters and The Addams Family, but it wouldn’t be trying to copy that particular look, but rather general peculiarity and alternative looks.

I would have makeup like the blush across the nose bridge that’s popular in makeup nowadays, facial tattoos, (temporary or permanent), elf ears, minature scars, eye bags (normal to extreme exhaustion), facial highlight (in every day shades up to unusual colors that would be used rarely) and contour that reshapes the nose, cheeks, etc. of the face. I would also have more jewelry: chokers, dangly earrings, multiple ear piercings, Medusa and labret piercing, and extreme facial piercings, and better and more fashionable earrings for men. Tattoos as well— ranging from small to huge— colorful and black and white— with a system to better layer them. I would also include manicures and pedicures for every Sim in numerous shades— ranging from a simple paint to full on talons.

The aesthetic for women would be witchy and gothic— going from Stevie Nicks or Misty Day in American Horror Story to Morticia Addams and full on designer goth realness. Along with dark fantasy looks and generally odd unique looks that couldn’t really be placed in any other packs.

Men would also have a dark fantasy theme, as well as a refined goth look— with facial hair and regular hair (long, medium, and short styles.)

This pack’s main selling point would be that it’s a stuff pack on content specifically targeting occult players that want more CAS content for spellcasters and vampires, without it being My First Pet all over again. The main selling point of the pack (the main brunt of it would be clothes and CAS) would be the return of Bonehilda, and the addition of community graveyards that Sims can bury loved ones in.

This pack would be released along side a major update for The Sims 4 that sims to fix occult hybrids. We cannot have hybrid occults in game unlike we could in the Sims 3. This system would fix that and make a system that solely occurs in game for aliens, spellcasters, mermaids, and vampires to create unique combinations of occult sims. So you could have a vampire alien or an spellcasting mermaid, and each would have unique dialogue options, as well as their parents having unique romantic interactions.

    It'd be a goth/alternative themed pack

List the things you like to create the absolute most first and then on down to the bottom of your wishlist.
That would be a very long list.
So let's just start with the top.
    Blacks that match.
    Leather/vinyl look
    More epic shoes.
    Chains, studs, spikes, buckles
    Mesh, lace, tears.
More extremes: micro minis and morticia gowns, barely there outfits, and head to toe covered.

Try to describe the specific items as well as including broader categories.
    Trench coats.
    Death rock style.
    Industrial style.
    Cybergoth style.
Maybe no more Victorian style, as there's a fair bit of that in the game already.

How would you make it fresh and new or fit in with other items already in cas?
More extreme hair would be fresh. We need at least half a dozen variations. Where's the spiked hawk, and a deathhawk or two, where's liberty spikes, or a chelsea?

What kinds of colors would you like to see or see more of?
More shades of black, but ones that match.

What kinds of styles or looks would you like?
    I listed them already

    Do you have theme ideas?
The inside of a goth club.

Do you have time periods in mind?
The modern gothic era began in the late 70's and is still going. Goths never die, we just look like we did.

Items for specific genders, age groups or occasions?
    More piercings for teens+

    Occult specific ideas?
    The whole pack in general?
