It wasn't an "unnecessary" patch. In fact, no patch is pointless. You don't have to use mods if you don't want to, no one is forcing you.

I agree with you. Before the changes if you just used EA's building materials, it would only go one way. You needed a two space window or a one space window and you couldn't use all the same windows in your build. That's why we needed cc. EA never takes responsibility for anything, it's always your fault.

They maybe cannot be held responsible for broken CC but they managed to break their own content. The doors from Get Together were broken by this patch as well. And I've heard some other EA-made windows/doors as well. And this is beyond stupid bc they are not even trying to fix those at the moment.

They seem to have missed out Get Together when they updated their stuff, yeah. I'm sure there'll be a hotfix updating them soon.

TheJim's content is on p.1 - he started updating before anyone else @Lancesalmo I'm waiting to find that someone has tested those mods alone when no other CC/mods are installed. I have doors, windows, archways broken since this patch. I tried to repair my game but didn't do any good. Have never had this issue before. Some are CC and some are from the game itself.
So my game works great now. It took me hours after last weeks path to fix it. I appreciate all the modders updating their mods so quickly. Just one slight off topic question. Does anyone know of a mod that is updated that stops sims drinking water constantly? There was one years ago but I assume it is broken by now.

Maybe someone can help me out with this. I do not have the Star Wars pack and do not have the slightest interest in Star Wars. I saw a mod the other day that "hides" the Star Wars stuff. I should have downloaded the mod right away but didn't. Now I can't find it when I want it. Anybody?

The CAS isn’t working when it comes to creating stories. It chooses your traits but it never loads your sims and it freezes the screen. How do we fix this?
@Zena Please see p. 1 for which mods and CC require updating and are known to be broken (broken windows and doors don't have to be removed, though). Delete localthumbcache after making any changes to mods. If that doesn't help, you'll need to do a 50-50. A link for how to do that is also on p. 1.

I'm coming from modthesims to say the "More Columns in CAS" was outdated.
In fact, it was broke in my game.
Fun fact: All my cc's windows and door are working well to me.
