Food plates no longer get eaten?

I started noticing this weird little glitch after the last patch. A sim cooks a meal and grabs a plate and sits down and starts eating, and eating, and eating and eating and the animation never changes to show less and less food on the plate. The sim doesn't seem to get full or notice and they don't have the glutton trait so it doesn't seem to stem from that. Seems to affect the entire household as well. Not sure if they'd just sit there all day eating the same plate of food or not. I imagine if their bladder got bad enough they "might" stop eating to go take care of that. I'll have to experiment and see.

EDIT: OK, now it's working fine. Maybe the meal was made before the update? Anyway, things they make now are responding correctly so that's all that matters.

I found that when this little glitch happened, the Sim was eating a Grand Meal, all other meals are being consumed normally.

I had this with one mac and cheese meal but everything else seemed normal.

This started for me 2 days ago with sims eating fruit salad. I had to reset them to continue playing.

I've had this. I've also had a cat unable to stop pooping in the litter tray. Poor thing crapped a week's worth in one night!

I had something similar with my sim harvesting his carrots. He kept pulling them in a loop and the carrots never came off the plant he did it over and over. I ended up going to manage world and then reloading the lot and that seemed to fix it. The carrots were off the plant and in his inventory.
