Is this a glitch or a performance issue? Random lag

Hey guys,
So since the first patch on the 3rd I have an issue with my game. Many times when I go into build mode or CAS and then go back to live mode my game lags very much. My fps drops to like 10 from 70. I usually have to wait 2-3 minutes and then it goes back to normal. Many times I have to quit the game entirely.
I have updated all my mods and graphics drivers. I have some CC but I don't know if any of it is broken.
First I thought it might be something with my game but then I saw Plumbella having the same problem too in one of her Eco living videos.

Yes that's true it happens randomly to me too. I forgot to add that. Literally I'll be in live mode and it will randomly happen
