I just came to see if there was a thread. I can't connect either. Origin is online but I can't connect to the gallery in game.

It's down for me too. I tried to connect to upload a room to the gallery just now, but can't connect. It does let me play off line though.

I can connect to it but alot of my things are missing. I got a new computer and had to reinstall everything and now more than half of my creations are missing mostly the sims I created.. I thought I would be able to just reinstall and go to the gallery and download all my stuff back.

This solution is what helped me: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Gallery-is-not-loading/m-p/9118204#M175775
I have had the same issues, the solution for me was to quit the game and Origin, open task manager and scroll down until I found the Originwebhelperservice and terminate that process.

Restart origin and log in to the game and the gallery works perfectly.

I am really not sure why the originwebhelperservice is still an active process after quitting Origin but this does seen to be causing the issue for me.

I may have spoken too soon, however. It worked and then, after being in build mode for a while, it went offline again and I have to repeat the process.

I signed on a little bit ago and Origin was updating. Then it installed the helper tool. But couldn't go online in the game.

I restarted computer and still can't get to the gallery. Guess it is down, for how long though? :/

My gallery has been not connecting correctly for about a week now. It is just taking forever to load and picks when it wants to actually load.

I also have problems with the gallery.

Perhaps a good idea to save these kind of rooms to your personal library once the gallery is back online. That way they are available offline.

The gallery has been down for 2 days for me. Also, this is the second time it happened this month. I wonder why?

    Hey there @Noroco :)

Looks like the EA team took the Gallery offline a month back for maintenance. I can only assume the current downtime is due to the subsequent removal of "unintended features" (i.e.: bugs) being introduced by that maintenance process. :)

Also having problems with this right now. There is this: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/980130/the-sims-4-gallery-maintenance-august-20-2020#latest , it was from four days ago, but no confirmation the gallery is back in that thread. It might be related?

EDIT: seems to be working now.
