Vampires Compel for Drink Is broken

I'll have my sim find some prey and I'll select "Compel for deep drink" the sims walk up and get in potion and then the action cancels. I tried this over and over and over again and even re-started the game with no change. It seems to happen MORE on sims that are using an umbrella. It just doesn't work for some reason and the action will cancel.

No, I don't use mods.

Have you tried turning testing cheats on and resetting your sim and/or their target? Sometimes, manually resetting sims can fix problems like this.

No, I dunno much about the cheat system. When It happens again I'll try it out.

It's been happening since the pack release, usually if the target is too far from your sims

Yeah I don't recall this being a problem before. I did some testing with it and it's only happening to sims holding umbrellas.
