AMD or Intel to run Sims 3?

I am searching for a new laptop to run my Sims 3 game (it has to be a laptop). Would you recommend AMD or Intel?

For the processor (CPU)? Both Intel and AMD make processors that are lower end (too weak for this game), with over the top more strength and cores than the game could ever use, and all points in between. Given a processor from each of equivalent strength, this becomes kind of like a Coke vs. Pepsi debate. There are some who will say that AMD processors run hotter than Intel, but I'm not sure that's entirely or always true across the board.

For graphics cards (GPUs), that's a different story. Only Nvidia and AMD make dedicated graphics cards, Intel makes integrated chips. Although that is supposed to change next year when Intel finally enters (or technically re-enters) the dedicated graphics card market, but guess that isn't very relevant for right now.
