weird outfit glitch

Hi,
I am experiencing an issue where if my young adult sims travel with toddlers from their homeworld to another world the young adult outfits for both sims are all the same outfits in every category when clicking change outfits after arriving in the other world. The toddler's do have the correct option to change outfits but as I am playing a family from the tropical world who turn up in the city in their beachwear that cannot be changed into any other outfit they defo look out of place lol If my young adult sims travel alone there is no issue with changing into other outfits within when arriving in other worlds.
Not playing with any CC and all mods have been removed to check this issue but still the same issue? Wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if any player can explain how I can rectify this issue?
