Weird Romance Notification?

All of a sudden in my game I've been playing for awhile now, I have been getting this notification: "X and Y should spend some personal time apart" or something to that effect and then in the slide out notification thing my sim will say "I don't want to break up the group quite yet but perhaps I should investigate this possible romance later."

I have no idea why I am getting this notification. It's happening with my eternally faithful sims as well as the daughter who is currently the boyfriend of another sim. I have searched everywhere and can't figure out what is going on? I did a total reset on my SP and then reimported my settings and a reset on overwatch and redid those settings as well and I'm still getting the notification. It's so weird. Maybe I clicked something in caste on accident that I shouldn't have (I do not even TOUCH the caste stuff because I have no idea what I'm doing with that)?

It's so weird and I am at a loss on how to fix it. Has this happened to anyone else? HAALLP!

I have had this happen in group situations. It would seem that if your sims are out in a group, romantic interactions, even if between eternally faithful couples, should be kept to a minimum to stop the others in the group from feeling left out.

I have this happen even if my sims are not out and about.I currently only have 1 sim in my household and a message popped up "3's a crowd" and asked if I wanted to tone it down.Even though he was all by himself watching tv...not sure why that happens.

@GraceyManor That is a different message than the one the OP has asked about. The one you are talking about is about sims in a group situation outside of the active household.

Oh I thought it was the same because the one I see is romantic as well says something about romance and crowd sorry!

Hmm, interesting. It's mostly just the 2 sims as a group (date, group situation) so I have no idea why the group would feel left out if it's just them, lol? Maybe because they're out in public? No idea but it just started happening and I have been playing this game for years!

I get this from time to time as well and have NO idea why, lol!

@StephSteb Only the two in the group? That seems odd! I have never had the popup when it's been just two. I usually get it if the couple are not alone. Does this happen when they are on dates?

Yep.

And the eternally faithful couple was at home not on a date, just flirting around etc lol?

I've never had that happen! Of course I generally don't do group or date situations because I hate the way they work.

That three is a crowd message randomly popping up for no reason is a glitch they've never fixed. I have gotten it many times through the years.
