NotA - If I could have only one, as a standalone, I'd go with The Sims Medieval. It's a good mix of what I like in The Sims with what I like in other fantasy builders and light RPGs.
Sims 2, but if bugs and mods are in question than Sims 4.
Sims 2 has alot of content in it but it's also rather buggy. Thankfully not as much as sims 3 but still kinda buggy
Defiantly gotta be Sims2. I actually own it but it is still one that if I had to rebuy all the expansions again, I would. Lots of stuff to do in there and the reactions were always hilarious.

definitely not ts3 tho in retrospect it annoys me I don't even want to play it
yet I am in infinite loop with ts 1, 2 and 4 because there is certain aspects to all of them I simply can't give up
