Well there goes growing crops for necter making. :/

Compared to the poll options, nectar making is a small feature - it can easily use many of the already-existing produce and be based on already-overhauled gardening. It'd be just a new skill and a few objects (and, hopefully, either a gardening branch or freelancer branch). Still, all of that is small stuff compared to full-scale horses, a full-scale new approach to growing crops, living off the grid (if it included power system with wind turbines and water wells), or a new system of keeping farm animals (which would need more than nectar making due to wider array of buildings for each species + their needs). In all of that, nectar making would definitely be a minor feature.

my goal is to have werewolf steal lambs off someones farm :sunglasses:

This is the way cross-pack synergy should be like.

For me, University was/is the chore.
Send sim(s) to class, write term paper/essay/project, repeat for a game week, send sim to exam, repeat the first two for another week, send sim to exam, repeat the process 4 times until the sim finally graduates and goes to the families folder to await a home of their own or be moved back in with folks.
IF they do University again, I would want it more streamlined, the whole higher education process taking just 8 game days. OR, just like in our modern day, they could have the option to take their college courses online and so study at home while working and going about their day with their family. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to a farming expansion pack over a higher education (college/university) expansion pack myself. Especially if I get my horses, chickens, and cows back and possibly add sheep, goats, ducks, geese, and alpaca/llama. As much as I would also want unicorns back, with a farming expansion I'd assume I'd have to wait for an appropriate expansion pack for them as well similarly magical/mythical pegasi, winged unicorns, dragons, firebirds, and gryphons.

I’m all for the Farming expansion, University stresses me out enough in real life.

Same, I've enjoyed University on both The Sims 2 and 3 at the time of their release but only really did it once or twice, it's so exhausting going through college on every kid you have.

Im not an animal lover. So I dont care for a farming pack.

If they do a farming expansion before university....that'll beat all.

As far as the hints and clues, it is very obvious by now that they do drop them. Despite the couple who want to claim that they don't. It was no coincidence that there was a seasonal calendar in Cats and dogs. It was no coincidence when they had the boat parked in a driveway in Get Famous. And I believe it is no coincidence that College Cram came with movie stuff. I believe they have been working on a University or back to school pack for several years now.

Edit: And as far as a farming pack goes, I have no interest in one. But I will buy every pack released for Sims 4, there is always something nice in each pack.

There was also a calendar behind the bar in Strangerville with a tropical photograph on it.

I wonder if they've ever seen a chicken in RL? Those chickens look weird as hell I have to say.

What's worse, with TS4 system, if going to university would not stop the time "back home" as it did in TS3, the idea of leaving the rest of my sims to their own devices for a week (let alone several weeks) is just terrifying. And yes, it's a circle of classes and other tasks until reaching the goal.

I've always loved gardening in Sims and the idea of this being expanded on with farm animals (and possibly natural fertilizer) is something I'd like more. Yes, farming has its own challenges - I am afraid that even a 64x64 lot might be a tough fit for a real farm, more so if some kind of stable/pen was to be included.

it would be amazing if we get a smaller-amount of lots in a farming expansion world but all the lots are freakin' huge.

would not care if there's only 4 lots in the world if they larger than the lots we have now in this game. 80x80 anyone? lol

edit: actually do 4 'farm' lots with an additional 5th lot with a "town center" where a farmers market spawns every sim-saturday

I hope we don’t get it before University.

So true! My game always feels incomplete before University comes out. Whatever we get afterwards is just icing on the cake. I'd definitely be open to a farming pack later.

Same! Farming is cute, and i’d definitely buy it, but it’s not my first choice. University is always in my top 3 as far as EPs. I like giving my Sims that experience, and I get that school is stressful, but so is work and we aren’t going to turn down in game new careers because of it lol!

I just saw this on twitter and had my wig snatched. I've been wanting for a farming expansion for almost two years already so this made me so happy.

And let's not all forgot that SimGuruGrant's twitter poll hyping a farming expansion.

Plus, look at all those chickens, they look better than we what we had in the sims 3. No shade to my superior sims game but this honestly just looks amazing to me.

EDIT: And as for when I believe it'd come. I do think it would come in November aka EP 8. When a second ep was announced last year after seasons, we immediately screamed for university but get famous was released instead.

EDIT 2: There's also an Off-The-Grid lot trait coming with the June Patch, I was shookt the we'll be getting this lot trait so soon and thought this may have come with a Farming expansion.

EDIT 3: And I've already seen a lot of farming hints in the latest packs. In Seasons, there's a painting that features a barnyard in all seasons. There's also a 'cowboy/rancher riding on a horse' painting in StrangerVille. I'm also hearing a lot of chicken noises in some of the worlds and in CAS.

I had similar thoughts. I can’t wait for a farming EP!

I know lots of people have said they aren't keen on farming, and that's more than fair. I come from a rural area and really want it, and not to be just looking after animals, growing crops, but to have some of the socialising that people in the country do, the Young Farmer groups, the social events etc.

To those not keen, perhaps when you see it (here's hoping it will come soon) you will feel differently. I really did not look forward to an island pack and each time people said it was their favourite I truly hoped it would come after farming but now I have seen the previews of IL I cannot wait to get my hands on it. The island looks so beautiful, the Build Buy objects look fantastic and the mermaids, who were also not high on my list, look absolutely amazing.
