Roofing and Build Bug?

Hi, So I'm trying to build this garden/ vineyard wedding venue and I'm having some issues. I can't put the walls down, so I'm unable to see all of the furniture and interact with anything in the rooms. I have a gazebo on the lot, where the roof won't go down. That's not getting in the way of game play though.
On this same lot, I could not put a roof on initially. I would build a ceiling, but it would glitch out so the roof was going on the floor. After that fiasco, I decided to scrap the whole thing and restart.
After I figured out the roof thing, I decided to test it before finishing the whole thing. Turns out, the walls won't go down now.
I've looked through the forums and tried all of the workarounds that I've seen.
I am about to upload my lot to the gallery. If anyone has any advice it would be MUCH appreciated since I've put HOURS and HOURS into this lot already.
