I much prefer for public transportation especially when the world is moving towards into more socialist and greener state. I believe that private owned transportation is passe.....
It depends what you want in "cars" i know everyone wants carpools and buses and stuff back since I personally miss the old fashioned green box car from the sims 2 that would honk its horn at me and say "hey its time for work" and then at level 10 in my career i had a big fancy black limo coming to pick me up. That brought so much immersion for me. Nowadays in the sims 4 we just snap our fingers and magucally teleport to work which kinda sucks and takes out the immersion for me. So if thats what you mean then yes i really want that back.
If by cars you mean actually being able to buy a car and drive around and what not similar to what you can do in the sims freeplay then due to the size and the amount of stuff there is in the sims 4 already as much as i would like to see something like that happen i don't think that will ever happen sadly since i think they would have to bring "open world" options back since there is not many roads to drive on so there would not be much use for cars since everyone just teleports from location to location and lot to lot etc etc
In terms of cars, I liked back when there was the option of fixing up cars. I do think environmentalism could be incorporated. All of the cars could use green fuels, there could also be different types of green fuels with costs and benefits.
In terms of road rage, I think it could be done in a funny and light-hearted "Sims" way. I would not want GTA. I also agree that it should incorporate public transit and biking. It's not that high a priority for me though.
I only want garage stuff. If cars are included, so be it. I just can't believe this game has been out for five years and we still cant have proper garages in our builds!
personally I don't really feel the commuting part of having car for ts4 since worlds are not really suitable for that anyways
so no road rage would not really work that well
if they put cars I would like
1. new world with very good driving possibilities
- long scenic driveways
- racing area!!
- maybe some extreme places to drive (mountains? desert? idk)
2. Building cars + motorcycles
- make car/motorcycle of your dreams
- different types old, new, fancy, speedy or just trash if u bad at building em
3. Interactions
- learning to drive first of all
- Car woohoo is classic
- and makeout
- music for your scenic drives be fine too
- being most annoying show off with ur car/motorcycle doing tricks etc (and possibly failing at some and dying
- materialistic sims finally having something to talk about
- 2 sim on same motorcycle rides weee (real life tells me those are not actually romantic but who cares)
- motorcycle races and car races (yeah with racing suits and all make in fab)
- washing cars
- washing cars flirty could make ur sim able to do some fun stuff
4. oh yeah u need somewhere to store those cars and motorcycles so garage items and garage doors like btw
also would just like that car picks u up to work thing to be back because I was always waiting to see what new car looks like now they just walk its no fun
