Animation boxes unavailable for kid sims?

Hello everyone,
So I've had a number of pose/animation boxes in my game. However, I've noticed I can't use them for kids. For example, I have the Decorgal action hack (http://modthesims.info/d/240564/action-hack-for-movie-makers-and-storytellers.html) and I need to use it for my kid sims, but obviously cannot do so.
Is there any way around this?
