The expansion pack Cats and Dogs have so many bugs right now

I am just amazed with how many bugs there are with pets right now.

Pets lose needs when you are not playing them, and they get sick as well. This is why all pets are starving and are sick when you are loading a household with pets that you have not played for a while. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-CD-Pets-needs-are-not-filled-while-playing-another/td-p/6460123

Vet surgery/ spray & unspray is bugged, it does not work anymore. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-CD-Unable-to-perform-vet-surgery-spray-amp-unspray/m-p/6652787#M73466

You can't lecture adopted pets. The option to lecture a pet (that you have adopted from the street for example) disappears. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-CD-Sims-Can-t-Lecture-become-companion-for-adopted-Pets/td-p/7177058

Pet interactions are Filling the Queue/Task List https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Pet-Filling-Queue-Task-List/m-p/6699614#M60331

I know the forums aren't really a place to post bugs, but these bugs really need to be squashed.
Tbh I still surprised these are still in, its like the main thing stopping me from using the main feature of this pack.

yeah, these bugs that I posted (with links to answer hq) are some of the most annoying ones I have encountered. I have simply removed most of my pets from the game now. I have only a few left. I can't lecture them, I can't do anything when they get in heat, they stop my sim from doing tasks all the time and they constantly get sick.

If you're not opposed to using mods, there are a couple of different locations that have mods that deal with many of these issues and much more. Most of the mods I use are mainly for just making this game playable, while I wait and hope that EA will get around to fixing these issues.

Thank you, I am using littlemissams mods, I did not know of the other one though. Thanks. I can't believe we have to resort to mods because bug fixing seems to be a low priority for the developers right now.

The problem with this company is that they have always been this way. I can't remember too much about the original Sims, but in both Sims 2 and 3 there were issues that players made it known, and known very loudly, they never did anything to address those issues either.
