It's really sad

Today I set my saves aside, and uninstalled and reinstalled my game, utterly mod free, just the base game for starters, to try a new game approach. When I went to play it, it offered me the tutorial, and I thought, what the heck, only know the game inside and out, why not just so I've tried it? And, just like the rest of the game and every expansion that's ever come out, I got about 3/4 of the way through before I hit a bug and could go no further. It's really pathetic when you can't even cleanly program a simple tutorial to work right.
