Hello @anonymolerat , I'm pleased to advise that your requested re-creation of your grandparents quirky old house is now available. 1 1/2 story home with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. 2 bathrooms, laundry, study, kitchen, dining and living room. Garden style backyard, paddock with pond, field with barn, several outbuildings and a 2-car garage. This was a collaboration between @romagi1 (shell), @Sandraelle (interior design) and me (landscaping). Everything indoors and outdoors was detailed and replicated to match the photos we were provided. Enjoy!

    Download ***** Pictures (thanks Sandy)

Woot! You got it up! :) Great pics Sandy! Love the cover shot Paula!

@anonymolerat, I'm hoping the Exchange shows all the other store items for you, but I noticed it doesn't show the Art Studio for the stairs. :/

Omg omg omg @soocoolsim, @Sandraelle, @romagi1 ... I’m speechless. I’ve been having a terrible day, I just saw the notification for this, and now I’m almost in tears (in a good way!!) <3 <3 <3

I’m not able to boot up my game right now - I can’t wait to do that tomorrow and explore everything in-game fully! - but I’m pouring over all the pictures and I’m so, so, so impressed. I mean, I knew things were looking great from your WIP pics, but wow! I cannot believe how accurate (and how detailed!) you managed to make everything, including so many things I didn’t think would even be possible. The front door! The dining room hatch! The cuckoo clock! The birds on the windows! The fireplaces! The sundial! The swing on the big tree! Everything just looks fantastic, so far above and beyond what I imagined could possibly be done.

I’m so happy I found you guys and took the chance of asking about this; you’ve completely blown me away. I was going to say “you have no idea how much this means to me”, but I’m sure that from all of my many (many, many!) photos and ramblings you have some inkling! I cannot possibly thank the three of you enough for all of your time and work and patience with me, and above all your incredible generosity in sharing your talent and skill with everyone here. <3

I’m actually with my mum right now, so I just showed her the pictures too (it’s my maternal grandparents so her parents’ house), and she is absolutely staggered; she had no idea this could be possible in the Sims (she’s never played herself, though she’s aware of the game in general as I’ve grown up it since Sims 1 in my childhood). She says to say thank you from her too for doing this for me. :)

@romagi1, no worries, @Sandraelle kindly sent me a list of links to everything including the studio, so I should be all good. :)

Again, just... thank you all. So so much.

@anonymolerat , aww, you're so very welcome!!! It's so nice hearing how happy it makes you and thank you for showing your appreciation. We all tried really hard to try and replicate it as close as we could (with our game limits), so I'm thrilled that you are so pleased and hope that you enjoy playing in it (or just looking around at it, lol). I'm sure I can speak for my teammates, but we all had fun creating this house for you.

@Sandraelle, I actually just spotted the aeroplane wall art in the study and had another little squee of excitement! My grandpa was an RAF pilot in WW2 and remained an aeronautics enthusiast right into his old age. I’m so impressed you picked up on that from the photos of his junk-filled study! :p

I’m really glad this build wasn’t too much of a chore and you guys had fun with it. Like I said before, it makes me so happy to know that this weird old house that I love so much has brought a little bit of joy to other people too. :)

Preferred builder* (If none, leave blank):
Type of build (Modern, Traditional, Victorian, Gothic, etc. or leave blank): traditional
Which EPs and SPs do you have? all but movie stuff
If you have Showtime, which edition do you have (basic, Limited, or Katy Perry)? limited
    Lot size (dimensions): any
Number of bedrooms (No more than 10): Master, grandparents suit, nursery and then at least 3 more with multiple beds OR up to 6 more.
Specific instructions on decorating the bedrooms (gender, age, etc.)? gender neutral as much as possible and multi age
    Number of bathrooms: any
Favorite color schemes: blues, whites and really digging pastels right now. I also really like the house to be bright and airy, pops of colours, etc.
Colors you dislike: really dark unless the furnishing is very bright, too many browns.
Do you want it furnished and decorated? yes
Can patterns from Create-a-Pattern be used? yes
Required - Please list the owned Store content that can be used: any
Please list the Dr. Pepper and T-Mobile promotional items that can be used: none
If you will be placing this lot in an EA world, which one?
Link to specific house or plan:
Special requirements (garden, pool, hot tub, etc.)? lots of room for skill objects and pet stuff (not horses)
Is communication required before the builder begins work? no
Additional instructions? This is a legacy home I hope to use for many generations. I really want a home that is usable for 8-10 sims. I prefer 1 story homes OR having the nursery on the main floor at least. Nursery should be pretty large with room for 2 minimum. I also really like ranch style homes - I'd love it to have a large covered porch in the front :) sorry I am so picky!
