New Tutorial: Roommates?!

Hi all,

So, the new patch has given us a new tutorial (accessed optionally by starting a new game)

You create a sim, pick an aspiration and get given traits automatically. When you go into the game you get placed into a house with another person in it. Looking at your aspiration, it informs you that one of your goals is to 'socialise with your roommate'. The other sim is not part of your household and can't be switched control to (without cheats, etc).. so, is it now possible in game to have a room/housemate? Or live in a house with a sim not part of your household???

    It's only temporary unfortunately.

Since you're able to switch control to the roommate once your sim gets a job and leaves for said job you can then control Alex. Basically showcasing that when you live with two sims or more you can also control the other one.

Once you get through the tutorial Alex will then leave the household leaving your sim and soon after you have the choice to quit, continue that game or create another sim to add to your household.

Awh, 🐸🐸🐸🐸! I didn't even get a job before I started freaking out about npc roomates added into the game. Guess I was too hopeful.
    Thanks for the info!
