Runaway teen challenge question

So, I'm trying the runaway teen challenge. My sim has had about a week so far, and she has two rooms of a house. However, she is now pregnant. The boy responsible ran away when she told him (I kid you not) but his brother is very responsible and they are now going steady (she was friends with them both beforehand). Can I move him in if he brings no money with him? He has a part time job already, and is only a few days away from becoming a YA. Or does my teen have to get to a certain point before allowing someone to move in with her?
