Who here is familiar with the Climate family? Looking for your theories on the subject

I've just downloaded the Climate family to my game not too long ago. Anyways I read up on the family and discovered that the dad is a cousin to Vlad, the vampire in Forgotten Hollow. I'd like to give them a family connection in the game and was wondering for those who have their own theories on this, I'd love to hear yours.
